Really friendly people. Excellent service. Would certainly recommend them. In the patients waiting room it would be nice to have a TV - I waited 2 hours before seeing the surgeon and it got boring as I had to lock away my handbag before being dealt with. But otherwise I was very impressed.

Great: Lovely place - new, spotlessly clean. Super friendly and helpful staff. Very thorough (with 1 exception on my last trip) I had a driver as the premises are not near public transport and I don't walk well. It took a great deal longer to get and appointment in this case than it would have been had I had a partner or friend available to take me. The driver was wonderfully friendly and helpful. Poor: A little card with my details printed on 1 side and name of the surgeon on the other (popped into my 'goody bag' of things to take home: a) the name of the attendant was not filled in b) most importantly, the tick box for the operated eye was the wrong eye . Luckily due to various other checks, the correct eye was operated on. I also asked twice on leaving if I could have my follow-up check at an optician as I had already been told by friends that this was possible at qualifying opticians, but was told that I could not and would have to go back to spamedica. The following day I confirmed with a local optician that I could go to them. Leaving reviews: Considering that most clients will be between 65 and 95 it is highly possible that all do not use digital technology and will need to speak to staff personally regarding question or comments. It seems that more thought has to be put in to your service.

Very clean and smart premises with easy access and parking !! Staff cheerful and helpful and evidently happy with their daily grind. Very good experience all round

I was well looked after during the pre-op appointment and on the operation day. All staff kind, thoughtful and courteous. Due to so many people being operated on, it was a bit of a wait between arrival and the actual operation, but to be expected with the volume they were doing. And we were told the whole time would be 3 hours and they were correct. A very good experience, no problems and stress free.

From start to finish the whole process was first class. Low waiting time for first appointment to having the cataract ‘fixed’ much appreciated. On the operation day began with a very friendly welcome. Once in the care of the medical team - again excellent. Before and during the operation full explanation of what was going to/was happening. Before the operation I was apprehensive/concerned as to what would happen on the day. My fears were very quickly eased with the support of the lovely medical team and I now look forward to having my second eye treated.

Exceptional service at Spa Medica and very friendly staff. I was here with my father who was very anxious at the beginning but after a while he was fine and quite happy with the procedure.

From referral to pre-operation consultation to cataract operation, a speedy, friendly, reassuring and efficient service. Very impressed with professionalism of staff. I would certainly recommend this practice to anyone contemplating a cataract operation.

A great relief to get rid of the fog. Surgery carried out by skilled, friendly and caring staff. Well looked after from beginning to end.The operation was a smooth and easy process to remove the cataract. Looking forward to having a matching pair.

They were very professional but also very helpful and made you feel at ease offering you a drink and biscuits making sure you had everything you needed and the surgeon kept you calm and informed through the operation.amazing place and staff
