From being collected by transport to having surgery every member of Sparmedica is friendly and professional. I could not put into words how cared for you feel and had full confidence in every step of my appointments there.

From the initial referral by my optician to having both cataracts removed was easy, stress free, and a thoroughly professional experience. There was only a very short wait between the two operations. The staff at Peterborough SPA Medica were lovely especially the nurses. The surgeon who carried out my procedure was informative and approachable. After the first eye cataract removal I had absolutely no nervousness about the whole procedure and would highly recommend anyone who is suffering from vision loss to get their eyes tested and enquire whether they have cataracts. The difference once the new lenses are implanted is incredible. Sharp vision and a new discovery of colour. This partnership of NHS and Spa Medica is an excellent example on how minor operations can be carried out quickly and efficiently. Many thanks

We thought we would gave to wait months for my cataract surgery to be done after the first appointment but we were told the following Monday but then there was a conciliation that was offered to me it was 3 days after the appointment the staff where very polite and friendly Thank you all

My first eye surgery went very smoothly. I didn't feel a thing during the surgery. The surgeon was friendly and communicated well as did the whole team. My second eye operation unfortunately was not as smooth. There appeared to be some training of staff going on which may have resulted in me not receiving suffecient anaesthetic eye drops. The surgeon when we met prior to the surgery was abrupt and unfriendly. During the operation I felt alot more than the first which caused my eye to water and the surgeon to keep asking me to be still. There was no feedback following the surgery. The nurse after commented that the surgeon was alot faster than they were used to. My eye unlike the first time took quite a few days to settle and my vision to equal the first eye.

Just had my second eye done yesterday. Removal of the cataract was quick and virtually pain free as per the first one. Very short waiting time to initial examination, op date confirmed the same day, all in all a very good experience and staff so friendly.
