Had a cataract done , from the moment I was referred to the follow up after the op the care I received was just outstanding. It was quick efficient and excellent. Really good literature provided too

From initial consultation to cataract removal the staff were friendly and professional taking care to explain the examination and surgery. I was very apprehensive and nervous but staff calmed me. I would have like the surgeon to explain what was happening during the procedure, it was a shock when a blue sheet came over my face without warning, likewise when using the water spray. The procedure was over quite quickly with just a mild discomfort. I know what to expect for the next one. My eye is still blurred but it has only been 4 days. Time will tell if it is successful.

I was very anxious before I went for my cataract surgery, but I had nothing to worry about every step of the way I was treated with well. Explanations were given for everything. The whole experience didn’t take much time at all, I was admitted at 9.20am and was home for lunch time. Definite 5 stars for everyone at Preston spamedica. I highly recommend spamedica thank you very much

Everyone was great, surgeon nurses,reception,etc. top class 10/10. I have to continue this because this window says the review must at least 100 letters. It seams ridiculous, could not say more than my first sentence could I really.hey-ho.

Everything from initial screening to final discharge could not have been more straight forward. Any apprehensions were immediately eased by everyone who i came into contact with.

I was treated in the kindest manner, all the staff were extremely were helpful , and patient. as I was previously very alarmed at the prospect, the procedure was quick, efficient and encouraging. i had a couple of queries that i returned for, and each time was treated with patience, and a thorough examination. I would recommend to anyone wondering about it, to grasp the nettle and go ahead. time, the same helpful manner was displayed, relieving my fears. I only wish I had ventured to have the operation a year ot two ago, as it is amazing the huge difference in my vision now. I really cannot speak highly enough of the whole experience, and am very happy to share my experience with any friends , family, or people I meet, to encourage them. Thank you once more, and many thanks to all the staff .

My mum was extremely nervous and reluctant to have her cateracts treated, but everything about the experience was positive. The booking in was quick and efficient. Parking easy and very close by. The staff were were all very friendly and offered excellent care with some good humour to help the nerves. The hospital itself was clean and modern. The after care pack was useful and informative too. Mum now has 2 good eyes again and wishes she’d gone to Spa Medica sooner.

I had superb treatment from the porters receptionists nurses and the surgeon they were absolutely wonderful. My cataract procedure was very successful and I am so happy with the results. Thankyou.
