Every thing about this place is perfect. The staff are friendly and professional. They make you feel calm and reassure you every step of the way. The information booklets are clear and easily understood. Anyone waiting for cataract surgery should worry no more. You are in safe hands.

The pleasant environment with helpful, friendly staff provided the background for a comprehensive and efficient service for my cataract operation and pre-op assessment. The only downside was that the air conditioning (though welcome on a very hot day) produced cold draughts, resulting in an uncomfortable tenseness rather than a relaxed approach to an operation. The operation was, as expected, over quickly and without any lasting discomfort, and I was able to see fairly well from that eye within a few minutes. The next day, after removing the eye shield I was able to forget I'd had any treatment, and with that eye I could see better without my usual glasses. Although this is what I'd been told to expect, it was nevertheless a great pleasure.

We apologise that you felt uncomfortable in our clinic, we keep our clinics slightly cooler just to ensure they are sterile however we do provide blankets for patients on the day and so we are sorry you weren't provided with one. Being a very nervous person, I couldn't asked for a more understanding, kind, professional team of staff who contributed to making my stay so comfortable. From walking in the door to a friendly helpful porter, adminstration staff to the helpful staff that prepared you for the procedure and lastly the procedure itself , I felt completely confident, I was in safe hands, they were all wonderful and I can't fault them at all. I was so nervous because of something that happened to my Mother many many years ago but I needn't have worried as they gave me something to calm me and from there everything was great the lovely staff assured me all the time including the Surgeon .I was awash with tea and biscuits they certainly know how to look after you . I'm due my check up in October and then I'll be booked for my other eye but this time I won't be shaking like a jelly and it's all down to the Staff at Spamedica 12/10

I have had two cataract operations. First June 19 2023 second on September 06 2023 Both carried out by Ahmed . I am very impressed by all at Spamedica Romford . Very professional, knowledgable and caring. I am amazed by the difference in my site and not three days yet after my second surgery . The staff are the very best John Prothero

I had my 1st eye done on the 11th of August and my 2nd today......the staff are wonderful and reassuring.......I was very nervous but soon put at ease by friendly kind staff. The clinic is run so efficiently and the procedure is very quick. Everything is explained and anyone with concerns have a direct number to call for help and reassurance. Thank you Spa for a smooth procedure with wonderful results. The colours of everything post surgery are so bright and vision is great.

I have had four appointments with Spa in th previous in the past two months. At each assessment and both surgeries I have received outstanding service from all concerned Door staff, reception and all clinical staff hav all contributed to my experience. They are professional, caring, reassuring and extremely pleasant at all times

I have recently had cataract operations on both of my eyes at the Romford Hospital and would like to thank all of the nurses, surgeons and Hospital staff for being very caring, reassuring and lovely towards me and the other patients that were there at the same time as myself.
