As soon as I was referred through to them I was called within a week for a consultation. They were honest and stuck to their words. Spamedica is an amazing practice with friendly staff. I Would definitely recommend to others. The clinic is Very clean and tidy.

Initial Impressions - Very Good: *pre-op assessment - good, with thorough conversation and examination; *day of surgery - reception staff were good and explained procedure clearly; Theatre Experience - Disappointing/Unsatisfactory *surgery theatre, surgeon - supercilious, disconnected, emotionally cold and unsupportive of my anxiety; uncommunicative with curt manner and reluctance to talk; left the room immediately after surgery with no comment or pleasantries, left me feeling deflated and concerned - the surgeon needs training in interpersonal skills; *nursing staff - practical, mechanical approach. Possibly taking their lead from the surgeon. Immediate Concerns & Examinations - due to blurred vision in untreated eye: Very Good *Eye tests and scans - helpful and positive staff *Ophthalmologist - very thorough, with good communication skills, put me at my ease. I was seen for an assessment within a week of being referred by my optician. I was apprehensive about the procedure but need worried. The atmosphere was so calm and every member of staff I encountered was helpful and kind. Everything was explained fully, with plenty of time and opportunity, to ask questions. I would have no hesitation in returning to have a second procedure done when the time comes, nor would I have any hesitation I recommending SpaMedica.

Had cataract surgery in June and July. The staff very friendly and approachable, really quick and efficient I cannot fault them

I found the whole team friendly and helpful at a time when l was apprehensive about the treatment. My questions were answered and information provided to enable me to make a considered choice about going ahead with treatment. l felt confident l was going to receive a good standard of care and my worries were dealt with at the consultation..It was a pleasant clean environment..

Having seen all the negative stories in the press about the NHS and waiting times I was concerned about how long I would have to struggle before receiving my surgery and what it would really be like. My experience here is the complete opposite, I could not have asked for anything more. Every stage of the process seems to run flawlessly, being so well run / organised it rather took me by surprise. The staff were so friendly and took time over my questions & concerns were addressed. To me this place is a model example of how to run any business.

Professional and helpful from start to finish . Waiting times for treatment are brilliant. Parking good and amenities good , tea, coffee and water available.

I had my operation last Friday. As soon as I walked in, I immediately felt relaxed, as everything had been explained to me at my assessment. The staff, indeed the whole team, were very efficient and friendly. The expertise of the surgeon, made me feel very relaxed and in safe hands. I would whole heartedly recommend this practice.
