Having had two cataracts done here zi have nothing but praise for all the staff, very professional and caring. I was very nervous the first time and the nurse offered to hold my hand during the procedure which only lasted 20 minutes and it was fine. Would highly recommend this establishment

The staff were friendly and mainly helpful. Surgeon was excellent and surgery was quick and pain free. Only 2 small issues, not receiving a copy of the assessment prior to surgery that was promised and after surgery I was told I go back to community optician to check surgery had healed sufficient for other eye to have surgery. However my optician (Specsavers) said they no longer do that and it would be done by Spamedica. Otherwise everything was excellent.

I went along with a bit of worry. But the staff put me at ease, any question( even silly by me), were answered. The procedure was quick and painless. The operating team, were very good, taling and putting you at ease. OK I was there for 3 hours, however 10 mins for procedure, I can't complain. A bit early to say how it went but,I'm on day 1 after. Colours are so bright. Wow life is going to be different. Until you see it for yourself, you won't realise how good an eye sight can be. I can't praise the staff enough.

Assessed one day and had cataract done next morning! Very professional and caring service and 4 week follow up appointment quickly booked

I attended the Practice to have my cataract operation and everyone without exception did their utmost to put me at ease and reassure me every step of the way. The procedure was painless and the person attending me was very kind and reassuring.

Very friendly staff giving time to make you feel at ease the whole procedure was explained and carried out making the experience so much better than I thought it would be so big thanks to all the staff .

I review on behalf of my brother who has communication difficulties due to a stroke. Staff were amazing from start to finish treating my brother with dignity and understanding along with warm friendliness and humour. Thanks to all the team at SpaMedica Southampton.

I was extremely nervous before going for my pre assessment, the staff were all friendly and very informative of the procedure. On the day of the procedure again staff were amazingly friendly and helpful and the surgeon put me totally at ease. I'm due to return for my other eye and have no worries whatsoever.

My whole experience at SpaMedica was excellent, from pre assessment to surgery all efficient, reassuring and allowing plenty of time for questions. Just had my final check up with Optician who said SpaMedica had done an amazing job on both eyes and that I have 6/5 vision! Amazing - huge thanks to all the team!!!
