After being referred by my optician I visited the hospital for assessment and there was a cancellation for the following day. Surgery was completed on my right eye. It is normal practice to wait 1 month then re attend your optician. I visited my optician and I was referred for surgery on my left eye and I was able to attend at short notice. I was contacted by the hospital and offered a cancellation which I accepted and a few days later the surgery was completed on my left eye. Overall the experience was speedy, very professional and efficient. ALl the staff were friendly and efficient. A well run facility. I was very apprehensive about the surgery, but the procedure was painless,just a little discomfort being felt. The results were excellent and could be described as life changing for the better.

Referred 3 weeks ago.Assessed 2/52ago, cataract extraction this morning. Welcoming staff,very efficient and friendly. All medical staff Top Class. Post operative advice given first class . Having the other cataract extraction in a few weeks . Total confidence in procedure and staff.

The service at SpaMedica was excellent from being checked in at the door to being discharged. I was well looked after, all the staff were professional, friendly and reassuring. The pre and post operative inrormation given to me was very informatve and covered all aspects of the protedure. The facility is modern,well managed and gave me confidence that I was in good hands. The procedure itself was pain free and all in all a good experience. Well done.

Spa medical have now performed two cataract operations for me, that meant 4visits including pre operation days and operation days . At all times they were very professional. They explained carefully at every stage what they were going to do. They’re experts at what they do and my eyesight in both eyes cleared within days of the operations and I can now see better than ever! Can’t praise them enough!

The staff were really professional and caring. Although the procedure was a bit uncomfortable, there was no pain and it was over in about 10 minutes. It's great that the assessment was a week after referral and the procedure 3 weeks after that.

This hospital was recommended to me by a friend and I certainly agree with her opinion. All the staff were pleasant and friendly from the reception staff to the nurses and surgeon. Everything was very well explained both at the pre operative assessment and during the operation itself. I thought the whole set up was a very efficient way of carrying out routine surgery in a timely manner. I was very impressed with the short waiting time between referral and surgery
