Very friendly and welcoming staff . They were all happy and seemed to be enjoying their jobs . I was there for about two and a half hours and was made to feel welcomed and looked after . It was a better experience than I thought it would be . At each stage everything was explained and I was given the opportunity to ask questions . I was appreciative as you would be but I was put at my ease at each stage . Busy place . One comment is that some info for waiting relatives and friends just to inform them of waiting times etc . Not everyone lives close enough to go away and come back . Coffee and biscuits is good and was offered at various times during the waiting process .

I have been very satisfied with the service that I have received, I have now had the cataracts removed from both eyes. I found that the drivers, the receptionists and the medical teams were very helpful. The operations were quick and pain free. I would recommend the service to anyone who needs it. Thank you

Helpful friendly staff. Provided a transport service and gave notice of date and time of arrival. The driver was polite and provided door to door support. Upon arrival at the hospital, offered tea/coffee and biscuits. Kept me informed of what will be happening and I felt at ease. Areas were very clean and well signposted for directions to the toilet and fire exits.

Cataracts have been removed from both my eyes, April and June 2024. The whole service was excellent from start to finish. Appointments were easily made and to suit my requirements. The staff were extremely polite and helpful, the consultant and his team were excellent, the check ups were excellent. The building was modern, and very clean. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful hospital on our doorstep. Well done NHS!

From the start of my Pre-Op Assessment to the Day of my Cataract Op all the staff I had encountered were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. Everyone made me feel at ease and helped me feel calm and safe. I was very anxious about the Cataract Op and I was pleasantly surprised how easy and smoothly it went the surgeons were brilliant. I would recommend the Spamedica service for a Cataract Op without a doubt. Thank you for a great experience.
