Excellent care delivered with care, compassion and humour. All staff from arrival, triage, X ray and treatment were brilliant.

  2. Review titled efficiency & professionalism

Rated 5 stars out of 5

whilst overseas recently I injured my wrist/hand, I didn't seek any treatment at the time, on arriving back in UK 3 weeks ago the pain increased and swelling occurred which wasn't relieved by over the counter anti-inflammatory treatment. On advice I attended The Walk-In clinic @ the Millennium Centre : was triaged within 25 mins, X-Rayed within 30 mins more but due to a pressing appointment could not remain. I notified triage nurse. My hand was fitted with a splinted hand collar and within 1 hour I had been contacted by cell phone confirming a fracture and that I would be referred to specialist fracture clinic. Can't praise the informative, efficient and pleasant staff enough. Thank you.

Waiting times are absolutely ridiculous I was sat there for 3 and a half hours waiting to be seen and when i finally was seen the woman said am I sure that I’m actually ill and I have had a cheast infection for months went there prior few weeks and the lovely lady who saw me then told me to come back if the antibiotics don’t work and the woman who saw me today just told me to see my doctor and take a bath and I have already seen my doctor absolutely ridiculous treatment and was extremely rude

  5. Review titled Very good service.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Yesterday I had strong. dizziness & unsteadiness when standing up. We arrived at noon to find a packed waiting room. The receptionist was very pleasant & also the Triage nurse. We saw a doctor who was very pleasant and thorough in her diagnosis. She suspected a heart related problem - I am 85 and have a pacemaker and recent palpitations - and advised a visit to A&E at either Warrington or Whiston. Bearing in mind the current pressures that NHS are under, the service provided by all levels of staff, particularly the doctor, was excellent and very much appreciated.

  7. Review titled Bad practice

My friend from out of area went the walk in as her elbow was sore when seen by a nurse(male)he never took her blood pressure and what do you want me to do and said go and see your GP if it gets worse and before that we were told by St. Helens hospital to go the walk in I don’t think my friend will use the facilities again and for a person that’s not from this area is socking to be treated like a number and not a person

  8. Review titled Doctors not available

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Tina - Posted on 08 October 2023

I arrived here at 09:00 this morning and left 3.5 - 4 hours later. Whilst I respect that the staff on duty do their best under difficult conditions (understaffed and underpaid) I do not think its right that nurses are expected to do the job of doctors. At no point was I advised that I would not be able to see a doctor. Had that advice been given that I would not have waited.

I had to attent the practice 5 times over two weeks due to having wound redressed. On each occasion the staff could not do enough for me and made my visit worthwhile.

  10. Review titled Absolutely brilliant service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I today needed to go to the walk in centre with what I knew was an UTI. I arrived at 1.30pm the staff were absolutely lovely. I was triaged, seen by an advanced practitioner, examined and left with a prescription for antibiotics at 1.55pm. NHS at is best they were working hard and were wonderful.
