Have been a patient of this surgery, nearly 30 year's ago. Have been treated with the utmost respect and warmth, with good caring attitude of the staff's and medical practitioners. Have stayed for all this while, because of their professionalism and love and supportive attitude to their patients.

Yes, I have been using this practice for many years. I feel comfortable with operations of the practice and have no wish to transfer to another one unless compelled to do so.

  3. Review titled First appointment. Very good experience.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Just joined the practice and got an appointment within a week. Receptionist was very helpful in the phone and appointment with the doctor was great. Very good communication. Telephone appointment was very convenient. But would be better to have a more concrete time instead of the 2 hour window. But overall happy.

  5. Review titled Poor organisation

Rated 2 stars out of 5

My appointment experience was bad. I waited over half an hour to be seen before asking at reception how late the nurse was running. At that point, the receptionist informed me that the nurse had left to go home for the day. Luckily they called her to come back and she hadn’t got far, I was able to have my appointment but it was a frustrating experience. I came away thinking the practise is poorly organised.

  7. Review titled Telephone Consultation

Rated 2 stars out of 5

GP stressed as not enough time to discuss my medical matter. Had to repeat symptoms three times for it to be added to my records. Had to stop GP and recommend in person visit to discuss medical matter further as they were trying to quickly read up in order to prescribe medication on a complex matter

  8. Review titled A GP who went above and beyond.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by John Fox - Posted on 02 November 2023

The GP intervened personally by phone to expedite a referral. He understood my distress in with regard to my lack of mobility and pain. Due to my family moving out of an area of a particular hospital the referral had been pending. This particular GP told me he would personally ring and try to get me seen by another service. He phoned me back a couple of hours later to tell me he had spoken to a Doctor at this service and to expect a phone call from this Doctor. The Doctor phoned me an hour or so later and I have an appointment at the beginning of next week which I am delighted with as I have a serious lack of mobility and pain and am confident this referral will help me greatly. I am extremely grateful to the GP at Stratford Village Surgery as I am certain that if he hadn't taken it upon himselfbto personally contact the specialist Doctor I would have been waiting a lot longer for a referral. I have been feeling a bit self-pitying and miserable over the last couple of weeks and I now have hope and feel great that I have an appointment in a few days time. A caring and compassionate GP.

  10. Review titled Needs to improve

Rated 1 star out of 5

Getting appointment at Stratford village honestly gives me anxiety. Every time i try Getting appointment its impossible. Soon after days of waiting you get appointment to see only one patient waiting. That surgery you will never see more then 2 or 3 people waiting to be seen by doctors. I just dont understand why they say its full. Where are these appointments going in general, over the past 3 years i notice reception will play the blaming game. You ask the doctors and they will blame the reception. Then the famous line you need to call 111. Soon you end up another gp local surgery by 111 which you can see there gp surgery theres loads people waiting to be seen. Now thats what i call full house patients. Stratford village im completely lost there. One or two patient they are fully booked out. I believe needs to be investigated something not right. Around my community and school everyone saying the same thing about Stratford village surgery which is very poorly and they have changed there gp because it was going on far too long.
