  1. Review titled Extremely complicated to receive a booking

Rated 1 star out of 5

Honestly, it has 4 points in reviews, surely purchased. Honestly, they told me that I had an appointment, I went that day at that time, and it turns out that I waited 3 hours until they told me at the reception that I didn't Quote. They lied to my face, and I went home with a fever of 39 and called the ambulance. And it's not the first time this has happened. They don't know how to communicate things in detail. They are more mechanics than helpers.

It is very convenient to register my attendance on the machine, and the doctor I met on 15th October is very nice and patient.

I was expecting to receive the results of my submission of poo samples. However, I was told that they had gone astray so I had to start again. This was annoying!

  4. Review titled Unhelpful

Transferred to this GP a month ago, waited 3 weeks for a call to ask to restart a prescription, the call was on a different day than specified, the GP was very abrupt and said they hadn’t received any information from my previous GP practice and she didn’t know why, so she couldn’t re-prescribe the medication and I would have to wait a minimum 4 weeks before they would sort it out (supposed to be 3 day max process, never had an issue before), and the advice was to re-register at my old practice (another part of England I don’t live there any more), and then she hung up.. I offered to come in to the practice with any relevant information to speed up the process “and how is that going to help?” (Or something like that) And I highlighted that I had received an email saying I had been officially switched to this GP practice and had not received any message to say my information wasn’t on record.. Couldn’t have just booked me in for a re-assessment? Appreciate the NHS is under pressure but that response just makes everyone’s lives harder and now I will have to wait another month for a simple prescription? Doesn’t make any sense at all. My partner is a doctor and I have a lot of family working in healthcare who all confirmed that the response was completely unacceptable.

I've had a couple of appointments with a doctor at the practice in the last couple of weeks and she was very attentive and reassuring. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

  6. Review titled Totally useless GP surgery

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Hazel - Posted on 07 November 2024

Nothing but frustration with this surgery for years. Tests are taken but I never receive the results (that was 2 years ago, referrals for appointments that never get made (a year ago and this month). I've been deaf in my right ear and experience ringing in it for over 2 months now. I have contacted the surgery twice. First time they got a pharmacy to call me, the second time I was referred to ENT to be syringed!? A simple procedure, why can't my doctor do it??? I still haven't received the appointment!

Staff and clinicians, helpful, however some problems when trying to get a face to face appointment. Prescription side of things could be improved.

  10. Review titled Excellent Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My telephone consultations with my surgery today and last Tuesday were absolutely spot on. First my doctor even managed to call me back twice when my phone was playing up. Upon her recommendation the Resident pharmacist called as arranged and sorted my prescriptions. I have been with this surgery for over 45 years and will recommend highly. My thanks to all the doctors and staff.
