I had to cancel my appointment due to illness but called today to reschedule. The receptionist (sorry )never caught his name was brilliant. Very kind and helpful found an appointment and even called back to do my prescription . I think it helps so much by having such a friendly manner , patience and time to listen.

That there is no parking and no disabled parking either anywhere near the place. Also that the waiting conservatory is not air conditioned and gets very hot. Furthermore that the facilities and rooms are very small, cramped over 3 floors and reachable only via a narrow and steep staircase. Why this surgery was setup in the town centre and not in the 500m away commercial/industrial estate is beyond my understanding.

I rang on Thursday as my tooth had fallen out and was seen on Friday where a temporary tooth was placed. The guy on reception was kind, supportive and proactive. And the female dentist was amazing too and asking about the medication I was taking to understand which treatment I needed.

My treatment was OKish. I was aware that there was a certain amount of urgency with my treatment, which didn’t help to make me feel relaxed during the appointment. The whole thing was rushed clearly to get me out the door as quickly as possible and get the next patient in.

No painkilling injection offered which I had mentioned because opening my mouth makes me gag. No opportunity to rinse mouth so I swallowed some material.

Receptionist was very polite. Easy to rebook an appointment for 6 months time. Dentist also very polite, onformative and gentle. Great service.

How professional and polite the staff were, my dentist was friendly, talked me through the process and examination. Introduced herself and put me at ease. I was really impressed.

Well, as you asked…. Understandably under pressure, the dentist was distracted throughout my appointment with helping someone else outside of the room. When I asked a question about my teeth, I feel the dentist was defensive with replying she didn’t know as this was the first time she had met me. I am no dentist, I had thought it might be in my notes. I don’t think I have seen the same dentist more than once in the twelve years I have been with this practice. I am normally a very tolerant and patient person, but my patience is running thin!

The reception was very busy but the receptionist was extremely helpful to everyone . The dentist and nurse explained everything and were both caring and attentive. I was seen immediately.
