I saw Will and he was very friendly and put me at ease. Very professional and I felt that he gave me all the time I needed to discuss my teeth.

I went for an emergency appointment and was told I needed to see my dentist after being treated with a tooth that needs a Cap replacement and having an x-ray. I was then told that appointment would be a 'check up and not treatment' as the follow on from the treatment had to be reviewed again and the booking system would not allow a longer appointment. I booked this for 9 days after the first appointment and I asked for a call from the Practice Manager so that some common sense could be applied to the process and that I would not have to wait another 2 weeks or longer for a longer appointment. Over 48 hours later I am still waiting for a Practice Manager to call me. I called today to chase this again and was told that the Practice Manager was not available. Not a good example of great customer service!

I waited over 8 months for a check up after getting a 6month reminder. I then made a further appointment for a filling and hygienist appointment. The dentist was very rough - poked her pointy tool in my lip twice! In my experience, you usually get a good polish at a hygienist appointment, but all I got was a couple of minutes of having my teeth scraped…. No polish at all. I felt short changed! The dentist did nothing to make me feel at ease, no bedside manner at all. Didn’t even apologise for stabbing my lip.

Following root canal treatment the previous week, I experienced an acute infection. The practice was able to offer me an emergency appointment with another dentist the following morning and treatment was given. Although it is difficult to book a routine appointment within a reasonable time, I could not fault the emergency treatment I was offered.

Excellent in all ways. 1st time I’ve seen this dentist although I’ve been with the practice since it opened. . I hope she stays as I liked her very much .

So lucky to have a brilliant dentist at a well run dental practice. Just a shame so few NHS dentists at the practice so not possible to have a six month check up next time, will have to wait till mid October 2023. Otherwise all perfect.

I was early for my 11.20 appt when I checked in at reception. After sitting for 45 mins I realised that other people were going in to my dentist before me. I enquired at the desk to be told that I hadn’t checked in. I need a downstairs surgery because I find stairs difficult. Then followed a fiasco of telling me to go to different rooms. Eventually, the only way I could be seen was by climbing very steep stairs (very slowly) about a hour after my original appt time. I was given no treatment but am to be referred to somebody at Oxford in about Six months time. I am using this site to post a review because I found the practice site too difficult to navigate. I am 78 and do my best with computer tech but they seem to change things on their site quite often. I realise I should be grateful to have a dentist , and I am, but this last episode left me quite upset
