    I had a bad experience making an appointment - I tried several times by phone and couldn't get through at all. I left an answerphone message that wasn't responded to, and used the website to leave a contact message that also was not responded to. I tried booking online but there were no appointments available for an NHS check-up, and although there was a date for a hygenist appointment, the system froze when I tried to book it. I eventually got through by phone to book an NHS check-up and hygenist appointment, but there is currently a very long wait (several months) for check-ups. When you do eventually get to see someone the dentists are helpful and knowledgable. Another problem with this practice is that I get a lot of emails promoting lip fillers and botox. I don't think these should be being promoted at all as encouraging women, especially young women, to have them is well-known to have a negative impact on positive body image and mental health. I get the impression that the management is pushing these services at the expense of core NHS treatments in order to make money. In all honesty, I would move it were possible to get NHS treatment anywhere else in the area.

    Had a check up recently and mentioned a chipped tooth. The dentist was able to advise and deal with the tooth within the same session. Very happy with the repair. Happy to recommend, although there is probably a waiting list.

    I booked an NHS checkup 4 months before the date. This was cancelled about 10 days before the date, due to staff leaving. I phoned to rebook, and was left on hold for 45 minutes or so. I rebooked for the next week, and this time was cancelled on the day due to staff illness. Both cancellation notices arrived in good time and were appreciated. I decided to try to rebook via the website to save time, but no NHS appointments are available - no explanation, just not available. I emailed them to request an appointment using the email address on the website, only to have the message bounce back. I know there is no point in trying to rebook my appointment via phone, the website, and now email - do I really need to resort to sending them a letter in this day and age? My suspicion is that the private work that they undertake has expanded to the point where they would like to lose the NHS patients. If they cease to serve this population, I don't know where else I can go locally to receive NHS care. After 20 years of excellent service at this practice I find this concerning.

    For the second time in three weeks I visited this practice due to overrunning appointments. Apparently the reception staff knew of the overrun on both occasions, but didn’t mention it… Asked to fill in a form which I had already done online, but there was great insistence it was done again. The quality of the dentistry is good but the reception staff are obviously poorly trained and simply couldn’t care less about you as a patient (customer!). I know NHS dentists are in short supply, but if you can find somewhere else I’d suggest you do so.

    Because of having stage 4 cancer if my Mouth and throat I need a regular and thorough examination. I did receive a thorough examination and was able to discuss concerns I had. Felt reassured.

    After a year between NHS checkups due to lack of NHS appointments available by appointment was cancelled 10 days before as a dentist had left and re-arranged for January as next available slot, I swapped this with my wife to have the appointment, which was then 50 min late. Dentist was good and thorough though. Next appointment can't be booked as no appointments available or bookable in 2024 for NHS. Plenty of private appointments available though on the website.

    I am a nervous Dentist patient and both the Dentist and Hygienist were very kind and extremely patient in helping me get through the appointments with the least distress, whilst being very thorough. After the Hygienist my teeth and mouth felt so much better and hopefully this will help me to relax more next time.

    Appointments get cancelled at short notice due to staff leaving and apparently not replaced. After having my appointment cancelled I was told there were no NHS appointments and I should ring back in about one years time. This used to be a great dentist practice but has been very poor since taken over.
