Extremely competent and caring dental practice complimented by friendly and polite receptionists. Everything went smoothly from the making of an appointment to the completion of my treatment, no cancellations or delays, a totally well organised practice.

I have had the pleasure of visiting the Chipping Norton Dental Practice for several years. The service is absolutely first-rate every time and in every way. Whenever I have an appointment, I am sent by e-mail a reminder a few days before the appointment. Whenever I arrive, I am never kept waiting in reception more than a few minutes. The dentists, hygienists, dental nurses and receptionists could not be more efficient and polite. There is nothing offered on Harley Street that can match what we have in Chipping Norton.

The service at this practice is very good, however, each visit must be paid for upon entry. I understand why this is so, but I do object to paying a deposit to secure an appointment with the hygienist when the appointment isn't until December 2022. Unfortunately, as with everything else these days, it's money focused.

Our payment in advance policy requires all patients to pay the full amount or a percentage at the time of booking the appointment. Demand for appointments is very high so we follow this policy to prevent failure to attend. It promotes patients to inform us when they need to cancel so their appointment time can be used to see another patient in need of dental care. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused. Unfortunately I waited 4 months between inspection and treatment. I consider this too long. Otherwise the eventual treatment was excellent.

The receptionist was very welcoming and efficient; I was seen on time; the dental checkup and treatment were excellent. I have no reservations in recommending this practice.

Receptionist was very friendly and whilst I was waiting I heard her at work being very helpful and polite to people coming and going as well as dealing with people on the phone. The surgery its self is looking dirty the outside desk was very stained. I had a new dentist thus time who I wasn't keen to do a quick scale and polish and more concerned about me making appointments every 6 months to see the hygienist (my old dentist would always clean my teeth on a check up). I felt very uncomfortable.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are very sorry to hear you were unhappy with your experience at our Damira Chipping Norton practice. Although a scale and polish service is included under NHS Band 1, it is only provided if it is clinically required. Sometimes patients do not meet the criteria during their examination. In some cases, the dentist may feel a clean would be beneficial rather than compulsory. This is when they would advise a separate hygiene appointment with our hygienist. Received an earlier appointment through a cancellation, seen on time for a tooth removal and all done very efficiently in ten minutes by a very good caring dentist who explained every thing fully, 10 out of 10.
