Bearing in mind I have always had six-monthly check ups I was concerned when the dentist I saw commented on gum erosion and tartar build up, what was more of a concern was to be offered a deep clean at a cost of £70, as an NHS patient and a pensioner this has obviously caused me concern.

Hi Andrew, thank you for taking the time to provide feedback for us. Our Dentists focus on prevention and sometimes deeper cleaning is recommended for the health of your teeth and gums - this would only have been recommended if the Dentist felt it would be beneficial to your oral health. The NHS fee for this has increased (in April 2023) to £70.70. We are sorry to hear that you were concerned about this but would like to reassure you that this was recommended only to improve your oral health. Everything about this practice is excellent. The high level of care afforded by every dentist along with the friendliness and warmth of all the staff allay any fears patients may have. I had to have a tooth removed ( and i was petrified !) - i can assure anyone in a similar position to be assured that the care afforded and the skill of the dentist was such that I genuinely felt no pain . Look no further if you are looking for a practice that offers brilliant dentists and the friendliest lovely staff you could ever wish to meet

The dentist was really calming for my son he’s 6 and was scared but she put him at ease how she spoke to him

I was having a clean and was supposed to be numb all over but i was not numb despite telling the dentist i could feel it he just kept saying i was doing well and would be over soon. I was gripping the chair and moving my feet to show how uncomfortable i was but work just carried on.

Everyone is very friendly, helpful and professional. Great service everytime. Dentists are very good especially with young children, engaging. Always a pleasant visit.
