I use to have really bad anxiety about going to the dentist and didn’t go for years, I now go every 3 months for a checkup and don’t have any anxiety about going, my dentist is always lovely, remembers stuff about my life for us to talk about, explains everything she’s doing, I always come out feeling good about my teeth.

Efficient,friendly,kind service from reception to treatment. The dentist and nurse who treated me were considerate and empathetic making the experience painless. Thank you.

As usual, the appointment went smoothly. People at the desk were helpful and the dentist and dental nurse were supportive. The dentist is patient and professional, always willing to listen to the patient's worries, and to provide clear explanation, whenever needed. Thank you very much.

Never seem to answer the phone, keep cancelling and rescheduling appointments, long waits for appointments even when in pain and very often late for appointment, last time 30 minutes. Have to keep filling in pre appointment forms multiple times. Not impressed.

We take negative feedback very seriously and we do understand your concerns regarding the phones. We receive a high volume of calls due to the increased demand of NHS emergencies and patients wishing to register at our practice. Answering the phones is a priority for our reception and they always answer as many phone calls as they can. We understand that your time is valuable so we would like to apologise for the delay to your appointment, and the inconvenience this may have caused. Unfortunately, appointments may sometimes run behind. This is due to the nature of dentistry. There are times where there may be dental emergencies that have to take priority, or appointments that overrun. This is my regular dentist and can only say they are caring and good. Ok sometimes appointments get moved but that does not affect the quality of the service. This time I had an extraction and yes I was not looking forward to it. But the moment I sat in the chair I felt at ease and the attention I got was very satisfactory.

Having problems with BBC a tooth I had fantastic service. They managed to fit me in the same day for an emergency appointment. Then follow up work was rearranged to fit around my holiday plans. Excellent service an understanding practice that does all it can to meet your needs.

On my recent visit I saw the Hygienist first then saw the dentist. I haven’t seen either before but both were very thorough and explained what they were doing as they did it. Was advised to see the hygienist in 2/3 months time. On going to the front desk to make appointments I was given dates in December! Clearly not the recommended time scale the hygienist requested! Whilst I cannot fault the dental care, unfortunately appointment timescales are really letting the practice down and also, when it’s nearing a booked appointment, the inevitable text that comes saying ‘due to circumstances your appointment has been moved to a later date’. This happens every single time. My husband had an appointment 2 days after mine which has now been moved to October!

My young daughter was booked in for a tooth removal the male dentist was extremely patient, he spoke her through everything and when she was distressed he stepped back and allowed her time to settle in her own time. No rushing, no pushing highly recommended for children that have severe anxiety
