    A good experience, the dentist was quick but thorough. He is 'keeping a watch' on two of my teeth, so did not carry out any unnecessary work, but I felt reassured for the future. I would recommend the practice

    I have been a patient at Damira Bank Building Dentist for many years. Apart from the current frustrations of appointments being cancelled, I have always received good treatment with my Dentist, who my family has had for years. She is always thorough and gives advice. I arrived before my appointment time and virtually went in straight away and left the dentist before the time of my appointment. Damira have also frozen prices.

    Went for yearly check up.The reception staff were very polite and efficient, the dentest and assistent were superb and explained everything in detail. Highly recommend

    My general check-up was carried out in a very professional, caring and friendly manner. My dentist gave me confidence in my treatment. Reception staff were well organised and friendly. The dental practice is much improved over the last few months.

    Tooth extracted on 25 January 2023. Both dentist and dental nurse very patient and reassuring. This put me totally at ease. As I was concerned about bleeding in extraction site I had to return much later in day. I saw another dentist who confirmed that clotting was taking place. This gave me the assurance I needed. Thank you Damira.

    The only thing was my appointment was 11.30 but didn’t go in until 12.10. Way to many people for treatment for the amount of dentists

We understand that your time is valuable so we would like to apologise for the delay to your appointment, and the inconvenience this may have caused. Unfortunately, appointments may sometimes run behind. This is due to the nature of dentistry. There are times where there may be dental emergencies that have to take priority, or appointments that overrun. We hope we are able to help again in the future.

    I am a very nervous patient. The dentist and the nurse in surgery 2 were both kind and reassuring. Was told of possible treatments that may be needed in future. The deep clean was quick and thorough

    The practice is very clean, the staff answering phone calls are very kind and helpful, the receptionists are kind and informative. The dentist and the dental nurses who attended to me are also knowledgeable and very reassuring. I had an extraction and I was talked through the procedure, I was so nervous but these eased my nerves by explaining the procedure. Overall I had a good experience.

    I recently moved into the area and went onto the Damira dentist website to check that they accepted NHS clients. I checked their literature that was keen to emphasise that they are proud to provide NHS dental services to both NHS and private clients. I then took the trouble of driving to Sudbury to register. Having queued up in a very busy reception I was told that 'we do not want any new NHS clients' and I was sent on my way. Very disappointing and a complete waste of my time. The pratice should ensure they make it clear on their website that they do not take on any new NHS clients. The 'pro NHS' advertising is misleading. Thank you.

    Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review We are very sorry to hear you were unhappy with your experience at our Damira Bank Buildings practice. Unfortunately, our country is currently facing a recruitment crisis for NHS dentists. Despite our best efforts, due to the nationwide shortage of dentists we are struggling to provide routine care appointments under the NHS to most of our patients. This therefore means we are currently not in the position to register new patients under the NHS. Damira Dental Studios have always serviced both private patients and NHS patients. All dentists are self-employed and split their time between NHS and private care. As there is less demand for private services, we can offer this alternative for new patients wishing to register at the practice for routine care. Denplan is always offered as an option because it is the most affordable and efficient approach to becoming a private patient at the practice. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
