I phoned on Monday to make an appointment to see a dentist and was given a next day 15 minute appointment. I thought the dentist would only have time to check my teeth, but she repaired a filling and I had an impression for a new denture.

When I go to this practice as an NHS patient I feel they do the absolute minimum and then try and sell you expensive private treatments. I spent 5 minutes explain a jaw pain that I've been having and he just continued typing and completely blanked me. No follow up on previous advice, like was I using the mouth guard recommended on previous visit? How was I finding it? I'm only staying with them as I can't get in anywhere else.

There tends to be a fairly rapid turnover of staff but in spite of that standards remain high. Waiting times are reasonable and reception staff are well trained and personable.

They changed my appointment time without checking with me. Only by 10 mins but it meant I was checked in as late. Didn’t see who I was expecting. Dentist said my chart was incorrect! It’s worrying!

I had to have two fillings, including one deep and tricky one. The dentist explained the possible problems and advantages and completed the work carefully. As far as I can tell, everything has so far been successful.

Clearly to educate good habits for teeth cleaning.Help to educate the method for kid to teeth cleaning. Remind us to review half a year and call anytime if anything else. Clearly to explain the condition of teeth, is health or need clean more.

I made an appointment with the dentist because I had been suffering with a sore tongue for several weeks.The dentist listened to my description of my symptoms and asked some further questions.The dentist made a careful examination of my mouth and the dentist could see that my tongue was dry and the dentist reassured me that there was no infection present. The dentist explained that my symptoms came about as the result of the unwanted side effects of a new medication I had started in the last few weeks.The dentist said I didn’t need any treatment but gave me some helpful advice on coping with the symptoms.
