Went for an appointment this week, was 35 minutes into the appointment, before being called in. Patients who came in after me, have been and gone, but I was not called. After quering this, with the receptionist, I was told the dentist has been delayed. She was strolling around reception making calls, whilst having Patients waiting. Eventually I was called in. The appointment did not last 2mins, and I was asked to make a hygienist appointment. Complete waste of my time and nhs money to pay for this appointment. I thought I was supposed to have a filling but she refused to do it saying that I should have seen the hygienist first. This was not the plan from the previous visit. She did a semi- permanent filling. Told me to come back in 6 weeks for a permanent one. Apparently my gums were still inflamed. She literally just one quick look into my mouth and that was the consult over!! In the past I have had a dentist from damira, clean my gums. It left me in so much pain, I had to have 2 extractions. I had no pain prior to this appointment. I am extremely anxious visiting the dentist since then. There was no apology for the delay, a general clean would have made the appointment worth while, but it seems they are constantly trying to sell the hygienist appointments to most of the patients. I have never met the hygienist before, so after my previous experience, having a complete stranger doing the clean makes me even more anxious. This was fully explained but fell on deaf ears!! No apologies when they delay the appointment but if you are 10 minutes late, they will refuse to see you.

I always have such lovely dentists whenever I go, the receptionists are polite and efficient and the dental nurse too. I find it easy to get an appointment.

I had to attend several times to do a feeling which can bee done on one or two visits .. unfortunately now after the third visit I have to wait 3 weeks for an appointment to do the feeling !!!???

I received a phone call as I was on my way to my appointment to cancel it (Dentist phoned in sick). This appointment was a rescheduled one as the same thing happened 2 weeks earlier. Maybe this practice is too reliant on locums?

I was there for a hygienist appointment. The hygienist is the best one I have ever had - no discomfort during treatment, friendly & kind too. Also I had a couple of other questions which the warm & friendly young men on reception desk dealt with beautifully. What a difference it makes to have the experience of a friendly smile, being listened to & questions dealt with professionally. I also noticed them dealing kindly with some quite tricky patient behaviour at the desk. Thank you!

The dentist was very professional and respectful. I was seen very promptly and the examination was reasonably good. She inquired about the period treatment to make sure that I was satisfied with the level of care. Since I had no major complaint, she simply proceeded with the check up/examination which went okay. I was rather disappointed to hear that she was leaving the practice as I have received very good dental care from her. She has been very professional, thorough and caring on every visit.

My son (10) was booked for an extraction. After receiving his injections for numbing his tooth, the dentist operated straight away to extract the tooth. My son's tooth was not numb yet. My son was crying and moaning to show the injections had not taken effect yet and he could feel everything. The dentist ignored his pain and proceeded to extract his tooth with no anaesthesia and my son had the most terrible experience. He continued crying of pain for the next hour. He is not totally terrified of going again to the dentist. I am chocked of the brutality of this dentist and his lack of understanding of the importance of waiting for anaesthesia to take effect before proceeding to extract a tooth. He showed no compassion, no empathy for my son's pain. After extracting, he went off and did his admin, not communicating with my son the slightest. No understanding of what he had just done. I am appalled by this service!

I am- like alot of people-terrified of going. Having not been for 10+ years I got the courage to go. Having not been to this place before I was anxious. The reception team were all very friendly, approachable and smiley. The dentist was on time. I told her I was terrified and she was so understanding. I didnt want to dwell so was in and out the chair quickly. I was embarrassed about my teeth and she was non judgemental at all. She told me I needed some fillings but I felt calm that she was calmer and non blaming. I had the fillings but she warmed me as.one was deep it may not sit well. Unfortuantly it didnt. I called the dentist and got an emergency appointment for the next day. There and then she did route canal treatment. I was terrified. She put me at ease and checked up on me thoroghout and told me what she was doing and how much longer. Even though it was unpleasant and painful I felt listened too and relaxed.

I have been a customer for many years and find the practice good. My only issue is that they keep cancelling appointments due to short staff and this has been going on for years.Its very frustrating when you are trying to go every 6 months.
