I’ve been to this practice as a private patient a few times since loosing my nhs dentist during the covid debacle. I’ve been happy with the treatment, the dentists and hygienists I’ve seen have seemed very good. However, every time I make an appointment it is eventually cancelled and I have to book another one. Today I have a check up and hygienist booked for separate appointments within 45 minutes of each other. I’d received a reminder by text and email for the 2 appointments. The morning of my appointment I receive a text saying my first appointment for check up is cancelled (as usual ) no mention of the other appointment. I arrive for my hygienist appointment and am told there is no week day hygienist any more, and why did I miss my previous appointment? I showed them my texts and everyone is surprised. You’ve wasted my time and money. I notice in your email you threatened to charge £2 for every minute of a missed appointment, I’d like £2 for every minute of my wasted trip there and back? What’s going wrong with your system?

Last month 4 different locums Filled my front tooth permantly All fillings failed Ive now got half a front tooth for the 5th time within a month Shame on you Sharland Regards

I currently have no dentist and was informed by 111, I could go here for emergency treatment. I drove 20miles, arrived before 9am, paid for parking and was turned away. I was told they were full and to come back at 2pm (5 hours later) but could not guarantee an appointment if i did this. Been in pain for months but only ever got antibiotics when tooth needs to be extracted :( so infection is back.

I was lucky enough to be sent to Damira dental practice in Fareham For some emergency emergency treatment this practice has definitely got dentistry down to a fine from booking to treatment. I was informed all the way. And was really pleased. The service received was well above par. Thank you so much. Keep up the great work you’re doing you’re definitely doing things right Thanks Ray

I have been a regular at this dental practice for many years. My recent visit was not my regular checkup but to urgently treat a painful abscess. The practice responded to my requests for help immediately and my dentist explained then managed the situation fast. I'm happy to say that in my experience Damira Sharland have good dentists and support team, all professional and friendly. Thank you.

In February this year I went to the emergency clinic because of terribly painful pericoronitis. Finding someone to drive me there by car was very difficult because I am a student, I don't have a car, don’t drive and I live in another city. I was prescribed antibiotics but because of strong inflammation I was unable to do my exams at university at the time. I called the clinic when I got home to see if they could send me an email confirmation of my appointment, any document showing that I had been there would be enough for my professors - the receptionist said she was already on her way to send me that (I’m pretty sure the calls are being recorded). Three months have passed - no document. I did not ignore her when she told me to pay £25 for a 2 minute prescription of antibiotics, whereas my request was completely ignored. I wrote an email reminding them of this and their response was "Come to the clinic for this" I think this is a joke. They forgot to send my data and I am now the one who has to pay money by seeking transport specifically to go back to their clinic? Disgusting service. I hope karma comes back to these staff.

It was great that the dentist kept talking to me as I was nervous and calmed to down and talking through everything .I was at ease and very settled and very happy with the way I was treated
