Reception desk staff were welcoming, polite and really helpful. The surgery was clean and tidy. The dentist was thorough and had great personable skills

Excellent care and workmanship. All the staff are polite and efficient. The thing that let’s the practice down for me is all the instruments in the treatment rooms are tired and shabby especially the lights to illuminate the mouth

Great service pity about the 20 minute wait for my appointment. If receptionist had said they were running late when booking in it would have been appreciated

My visit was for the annual check up. During the check I opted to have the clean de scale and polish which I understood to be part of the NHS treatnent schedule as displayed in the waiting room. During the cleaning the dentist informed me that they dont polish teeth now. I should have asked for an explainsion at the time but didnt. Could someone advise me why ? Is the NHS treatment schedule displayed is incorrect?

Dear Ian, Thank you for taking the time to provide the practice with feedback regarding your most recent visit. We are very sorry to hear that your appointment did not meet your expectations on this occasion. Scaling of the teeth would be provided inclusive of the NHS Band 1 charge of £25.80, should this be clinically required. If a patient has good oral hygiene and does not require a full scale and polish of all area's, this would be assessed by the clinician on an individual patient basis. Firstly the friendliness of the the team on reception then i received fantastic treatment from ABS he explained everything too me he's a tremendous credit to the practice so from start to finish it was a pleasurable experience
