    Not being a fan of dentists in general I view even a check-up as a daunting experience. However, the team at this practice are warm and friendly which put me at ease. The dentist was equally nice and reassuring. My visit was comfortable and painless. I would happily recommend the practice to others.

    The dentists and dental assistants are great. Treatment very good. The receptionists are a mixed bag. Some are quite unhelpful and rude at times. I was waiting over 20 minutes for my appointment and was later told that there was an emergency before me. The receptionist should have mentioned it and was quite abrupt about it and made it out to my fault I was waiting that long. I had to go into the practice to make an appointment in person as I could not get through on the phone and had tried countless times. Only private patients can make a booking online!!

    I was really pleased to be seen the very next day after I called the practice, as a new patient for a sudden tooth problem. I was seen by a really kind young dentist who tried hard not to hurt me as she investigated. She explained as she went along what the problem looked to be, and what might have to be done as she investigated. She decided to work on my tooth straight after my first consultation. She took great care to numb my gum/tooth sufficiently and I was very grateful to have such good care.

    A check up used to include a basic clean of my teeth to remove any small build up of plaque. However my last two check-ups have lasted a maximum of 2 mins each, consisting of a quick count of my teeth and that’s it. In my opinion this amounts to a reduction in the quality of service being provided. That said, the dentist and staff in my practice are all friendly, polite and create a relaxed atmosphere which is good.

    Dear Richard, We would like to thank you for your feedback and reassure you we provide NHS treatment that is clinically necessary; to secure and maintain oral health, our dentists also discuss private treatment options with their patients enabling the patient to make an informed choice about their treatment. If a patient requires cosmetic stain removal, or if the dentist feels that a patient will benefit from a visit to the Hygienist who is able to provide a dedicated service, this will be offered on a private basis.     The dentist was unhygienic, did not wash his hands after smoking. Two fillings that were not required, one tooth damaged. A terrible experience, not to be repeated.

    The dentist I saw was very good. There are three ladies on reception, the one that dealt with me is in the wrong job as she does not have people skills. If this were my first time I wouldn't go back.
