I was a new patient today and saw my lovely dentist. I was treated with friendly professionalism and although I was nervous as always when attending, I had a clean slate. I should add that the dental nurse was also kind. On entering and departing the practice I was made to feel welcome.

Was very very anxious but the dentist and her nurse were 100% calming and really put me at ease x great human skills and very good at their jobs !

I had paid upfront for extensive treatment but had also paid in full for hygienist. At the time of making appt for hygienist they asked for a deposit I replied no need I will pay in full to ensure I turn up ( nervous patient) however on attending appointment today I was told I would need to pay £88 in full. Obviously confusion regarding what has or has not been paid . Surely if I hadn’t paid in full they would have required a deposit at time of booking . Disappointed, however the hygienist and my dentist are amazing

Fantastic surgery, I had two teeth removed with sedation, Dentist was very kind and explained procedure, had the injection, within 10 seconds I was fully relaxed . Don’t remember any of the procedure, until I was tapped on the arm and said I could leave . If your a nervous patient I highly recommend sedation .

I visited today with my wife. The man who takes teeth out at weekends is incredible. The service they provide is ace. I’d rather wait an hour there than wait two years for a hospital appointment! Ungrateful. Try and find somewhere else with that level of service. You won’t. Even better, buy a toothbrush.

For an 08.20am appointment by 9:30am we had still not been seen. If I had not approached the receptionist no one would have taken the time to explain the delay. Apparently all appointments are double booked to ensure that there are no gaps, unfortunately if all the appointments turn up you have an awfully long wait. When you are anxious about your treatment some reassurance and explanation would go a long way. On top of that, a patient that arrived after us was seen first ‘in error’!! Extremely poor customer service and the receptionist could benefit from some training in how to deal with patients. Will not be returning!!

Dear Stassy, I am sorry to hear this. In some practices, including Ramsgate, a certain number of appointments may be double booked to ensure maximum diary efficiency, this process prevents gaps in the diary if any patients fail to attend their appointments, and allows dentists to see an increased number of emergency patients. However, I apologise that you were not informed of this on booking and I am extremely disappointed to hear that you were not kept informed of the delay. A visit today to see the very kind and gentle dentist in surgery 3. His manner makes me relax and calm. Other dentists are available there and my family speak highly of them too.

I had my first dental appointment with 'My Dentist' today and the whole experience was second to none. The dentist was friendly, reassuring and professional. I had the chance to really talk about my teeth- past, present and future, and the 3d images created on the screen were incredibly informative and explained thoroughly. Thank you for making me feel at ease. I can't imagine finding a better denist.

I have been with this practice for about 6 years and have always been extremely pleased, however, I went for my check up yesterday and was extremely disappointed in the care I received. The Dentist checked my teeth and cleaned/descaled some of my teeth, obviously after this I had bits of scale and water in my mouth, the spittle was covered with plastic so couldn't be used and there was no water to rinse my mouth, I beckoned to the Nurse pointing to my mouth and she gave me some tissue, I managed to say water while trying not to dribble or swallow, she gave me water, I indicated I needed to spit the water out and she said 'in the cup, in the cup' I did as she said but this meant I could only rinse once, the bits and a little blood was now in the cup, after leaving the room i had the most awful coughing fit and just couldn't stop, i believe bits had got into my throat due to the spittle and water not being available, what on earth happened and why?

Was allocated this dentist as my dentist could not remove these two teeth, arrived as told and filled in paperwork-straight forward, i was in and out within of 15minuets dentist was quick-polite-explanation of what was going to happen. three injectionslater couple good tugs and they were out, offered to show me the teeth and two dental assistances were polite and efficent esplaining after care when get home.
