After my annual check up was cancelled because of Dentist absence. I was contacted via email to say that my check up was due and I should book an appointment online. I did that but saw there were no appointments free. On ringing I was told that I could not see a new dentist for eight months, and there could be a possiblity it could be cancelled again. I have been with practice for 25years and never missed an appointment. I assume that I am being forced down the private route because of lack of dentists. This is not preventative care, problems happen when things are too late.

Check up appointment take just over 2min for price £ 25.80 ,little as information, dentist looks and talk like is in rush, little bit of interest , I hope my teeth are in good condition, feeling a bit odd as previously felt more looked after

I waited 30mins for my appointment as they were running late again. No one let me know there was a delay and it made me late going back to work, so if someone had just communicated how late they were running I could have let my work know. I was in for all of 5 minutes and told to come back in a year. I didn’t get my usual clean and polish like I normally do so hey bonus, they probably made all their time delays back…

All very efficient and done in a friendly manner. Its was an extra appointment due to an old filling coming out. Wouldn't go anywhere else

Very pleasant dentist and assistant. Efficient and precise in explaining situation - only problem was how long before I can get another appointment to have a troublesome tooth removed

I’ve had dental implants at a private dentist, they have requested an X-ray every 6 months at my NHS dentist, ie Selby Dental Care, however when I visited today 10-01-24 my dentist wouldn’t do the X-ray as she wanted to check this was correct. She said if I needed to go back then they would call me. It’s not easy to go back due to work and travel expenses. I need the X-ray for my implants to be guaranteed so was really disappointed this wasn’t offered. I visited 6 months previously and there were no issues for a report or a an X-ray. The manager was on holiday so I did not receive my report as this needs to be authorised however this will be completed when the manager returns. Left feeling extremely disappointed.

I always feel remembered at the practice. I appreciate the care taken to explain all procedures, and the attention to my comfort. I recently started attending the hygienist, and she was particularly gentle when I told her my teeth are sensitive.

I’ve rated “Good” instead of “Very Good” for the pure fact I don’t like dentists. I never have and I never will tbh. BUT the staff both receptionists and the Dentist themselves have always been understanding of my needs, and have always worked to accommodate them on every appointment.

Im so pleased that this is my dentist. Everything from receptionists to dentist and hygienist are so proffesional and caring. Makes a visit and treatment great with no stress . Definitely 5 star *****
