1 / I have been a patient since the early 90’s at the practice and have most of the time received a good level of treatment and service. My experience this time has been disappointing: I had a 6 monthly routine appointment and this had been rearranged because of my dentist having not been present. I think the delays have contributed me not attending the practice over 12 months. So, where I should have had two other routine appointments this was not the case. I attended the clinic and rather than being dealt with by one of your lovely staff as I have always been, had been told to wait whilst this lady dressed as a flight attendant was busy with an e-mail. I then waited for 25 minutes in the waiting area not told that my dentist is with another patient. Having been seen I then went out to the desk to book my next 6 monthly appointment, again the flight attendant lady told me to wait whilst the administrative duties were carried out. It may be ignorance, or arrogance, I will leave that to you I do not have the time to ponder why she behaved in such a manner. We practically own the area and beyond, since we have been living here since the 60’s and we have enough people working for the NHS (all professions) to deliver a reputable service and the obvious statement that nearly every NHS department preaches “Putting the patient first”. So, if you think my experience was poor then I would encourage you to reflect on this. If it was acceptable by your standards keep going and maybe buy the flight attendant a personalised desk and we can all come in and marvel on how professional she looks. Personally, I think and android can do the same job or perhaps if she is genuinely busy a small sign saying desk closed might solve the problem. Well Ill leave the rest to you. Everything stood out from walking in the door to the dentist and nurse doing everything they needed to help me with my pain and doing a referral to see a specialist dentist for a new xray

The Dentist covered: Everything was covered, in detail regarding the procedures that were to be carried out on that day. Explanations with reference to the x-ray was given regarding the infection of a root canal and that it splits up into hair lines and perhaps that’s where the infection might be originating from and that’s why a course of anti-biotics might solve the problem without further invasive procedures. Examples of how to actually perform certain at home dental cleansing routines with additional equipment that I have to purchase (I now know what to buy and how to use it properly and how and why it is important as I saw with my own eyes the effects without using those) I now also know that plaque can harden via calcification, another reason to up my hygiene. I was given time and a chance to ask further questions to educate myself, which I found beneficial. The dentist was knowledgeable and helped me. I was also given the opportunity to see what was wrong before the procedures were carried out via an optical aid. Good stuff!

The crown came off my implant and I was seen the very next day to put it back on. The two ladies who dealt with me were both so lovely and pleasant

Dentist was very good about telling me my options for a tooth problems, completely allows me to choose the best options for me after presenting full information, friendly also!

I was seen as an emergency patient this morning. I was seen very quickly by a very friendly and thorough dentist. He explained everything to me and put me at ease. Thank you for a wonderful (and painless) experience!
