I have a real fear of dental work . The dentist I saw I think was John Watkins’s he was superb at putting me at ease . He explained everything he was going to do.

Made appt to have back tooth refilled that was done originally 4 months before. When I got home after appt I found filling was cutting against my inside cheek which needed smoothing /polishing. I rang to make appt that day as we were heading back into weekend and i was advised I’d be rang back. When I phoned again i was informed message left on my answer machine which i could not retrieve so it may have gone to wrong number. These things happen. I then only had short time slot to get to appt and my husband had taken the car to a funeral. I rang a couple of local taxis firms as too late to catch transport and they said taxi drivers were at the mosque given it was Friday afternoon. I contacted surgery to explain but only the one appts available which I understood. However the taxi turned up last minute and got me to surgery just in time. The filling was polished in a short time saving me further discomfort. I have attended dentists for many years and I can compare and contrast. Dentist at this surgery is friendly. However the service is depersonalised and is not conducive for a patients confidence. Thank you.

I was informed on arrival that the dentist was running late which was very helpful. The dentist explained clearly in terms that I understood what treatment I would require and any follow should the need arise

The dilligent care taken in at every stage: firstly outlining the options; then explaining the likely consequences of each; and finally the detailed care taken in the extraction process

The dentist worked quietly and efficiently to build up a very badly broken and damaged tooth. The end result is excellent

The dentist was absolutely brilliant with my children. Thank you so much to him. He explained everything to them and me. He gave great advice and feedback to their oral health and made the whole thing completely stress free (which with 3 children between 5 and 8 that is a rarity!)

A lovely dentist who explained exactly what the problem was. I’m very lucky to have such lovely dentist’s that are very friendly and put you at ease as I get quite nervous before hand

The dentist did not fill out the prescription properly, so I had to return from the chemist to get it done correctly.
