I don’t think anyone really likes going to the dentist but at the Great North practice they put you at ease and are really lovely friendly people and make going to the dentist bearable.

I had to wait approx 30 mins for my appointment with no explanation, this is an excessive wait in my opinion.

Efficient friendly reception , dentist was welcoming , check up was stress free asked if I had any anxiety over appointment . Explained flossing brushes

Helpful staff as mobility very poor. Very good explanation of online signing plus treatment required. Follow up appointment easy to book.

After ringing 40+ different dentists, nobody had an emergency appointment, even my own dentist. Im almost 38 weeks pregnant so i couldnt take anything but paracetamol for pain which wasn't doing much. I finally rang great north dental care which was far from me but i didnt mind. They offered me the appointment at 2:30 when i have rang around 12, so pretty soon after the phone call. i was there on time and was shouted in soon as i got there, very good service, everyone was super friendly and dentist and hygienist were super nice. He cleaned my tooth, put on temporary filling in until i give birth then ill have it sorted properly, and prescribed me antibiotics. Veryyyyyy happy with the experience, i am now starting to be pain free and couldn't be happier and only this morning i was miserable because i thought id never get the appointment, even 111 wasn't able to help , i rang them twice! Highly recommend this surgery, i wish i lived close as id love then to be my permanent dentists.

I needed an emergency appointment prior to going on holiday, I was seen within two hours of ringing and I am now confident my holiday can go ahead without any further dental issues

Was able to have my tooth sorted out straightway as I was on the cancellation list. Everyone in the practice was pleasant as well as efficient.

Staff extremely polite, helpful. As disabled with lack of mobility they were extremely helpful. Polite and explained what was happening in clear manner, also same on telephone. Being afraid of dental treatment, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.
