    I'd already had 1 appointment for the hygienist rearranged because they booked a holiday. Today she was late so I had it cancelled because I had work and couldn't wait. I heard the receptionist tell her how embarrassing it was that she was always late. They'd taken a £30 deposit for this rearranged appointment, this went towards my checkup, I'm now incredit for £4, they can't refund this.

    I attended the practice today for an emergency appointment, when arriving I was immediately greeted by a filthy disgusting fish tank which brought the mood down from the moment I stepped in the door. With no radio on or anything to liven up the mood I waited in the depressing, sad waiting room - this is where my experience began. After a short wait I was greeted by my dentist today who had about as much sympathy and tact as the poor fish in the reception. Delivering what could be seen as quite difficult news as if it was a sports report, they then proceeded to tell me the £120.00 I had spent on todays emergency appointment (high compared to some other local dentists) A. Does not cover treatment, B. Does cover an X-Ray but this cannot be done on site, you must drive miles to the nearest hospital, drop it back off to them at the dentist at their own convenience, Then pay more for the actual treatment you needed in the first place! Honestly I will never be returning to the establishment and I think the owners should make some severe changes to their pricing and attitudes towards people’s health if they want to brand themselves as a somewhat half decent dental practice. I would like to note it is not the staffs fault for the negative review I am leaving today but they did all seem slightly miserable and I would hope they all find a better, happier, healthier place to work as they deserve much better as do the people of Wootton. Do better.

    I had no communication from the practice that I am no longer on a scheme and was told I am now a private patient. I was not seen after travelling 30 minutes. Surly it would be a benefit to check everything is in place before patients attend the appointment.

    The service is always good in Wootton Dental care, always on time and polite. Today I was surprise as the same service I had 6 months ago from the hygienist has increased from £56 to £86. I only noticed when I went to pay, in my opinion is excessive and I would have appreciated to receive an email informing me of the huge increase of the hygienist service. Apart from this, all is good! Thanks

    Treatment was efficient and thorough, well explained, with options offered thoughtfully. Reception staff are friendly and really helpful. All round, excellent experience.

    Only one receptionist who was on the phone dealing with patients/problems. (Not her fault I know she had no other choice!) Dental nurse booked me in after a wait. Consultation felt rushed and I felt a little dismissed as if I hadn’t needed to make an appointment to check out soreness in my mouth and that I was using up time.
