    A big 'thank you' for putting my mind at rest so quickly following an ECG at the surgery. It was completed in a very pleasant and relaxed manner by a health care professional and I was contacted by the doctor before I arrived home. You couldn't ask for more. :)

    The lovely doctor that I see is amazing. Very helpful and caring and looks after us really well. We all greatly appreciate her help, support and care. It can clearly be seen that she puts heart and soul in everything she does and we cannot thank her enough. They are all great to us at the practice and it is clearly seen that they all work really hard to help patients feel better and stay in good health. A big thank you to everyone

    I am over the age to receive an automatic invitation for a mammogram so I called into the surgery late morning to ask for advice about how I arrange an appointment. The receptionist took down my details saying that she would pass them on to the doctor. I received a text from the doctor, with the information I needed, little more than 2 hours later. So I would like to say 'thank you' to both the receptionist and the doctor for their very quick reply. It was much appreciated.

    Had questions to ask about my medical condition which were answered clearly and in a way a lay person can understand. Both the doctor and the reception staff continue to be very helpful. I am made to feel that my questions are relevant and not dismissed without clarification. I also find the facility to message the practice on the NHS app extremely useful.

    There is no way to get an appointment with this surgery if you ring during the day and they will tell you call next day at 8am. When you call next day at 8am you are number 10 in the queue so they will answer by 8:20 when all the appointment’s gone. And the option is go to walking centre if I need to go to walking centre every time why I registered there! Always there are new Dr in surgery most likely to see the same Dr next time.

    I have seen Dr C now on a few occasions after some worrying symptoms. She is honestly incredible and a credit to Abbey Medical Centre. She is extremely compassionate and couldn’t be more helpful. I’ve had diagnostic tests run before and waiting for results can be quite a worrying period. Dr C was clearly checking in on my case and contacted me the minute she knew my MRI was clear, 48 hours after initially booking it. I can’t express what a difference that makes when previously I’ve been left waiting 1-2 weeks to find out results. She is a brilliant GP and I can’t stress that enough.

    The care I have had over the years has been nothing short of excellent. A really good practice with wonderful doctors who are incredible at looking after me, they embody what the NHS was supposed to be about when the NHS was first introduced to the UK public. Excellent doctors providing first class care.

    All staff from receptionists to GP’s were incredibly helpful during my visit. My care was escalated quickly and follow-up appointments were made there and then.

    The 8am GP request slot is so inconvenient for us full time workers. But this new e-system is fantastic. I had an issue that was not particularly urgent but wanted to see a practice nurse at the very least. The system was introduced to me via text a couple of days before so I thought I'd try it out. It allowed me to explain my issue, request the professional I wanted to see - I chose a practice nurse - and then submitted my request. Thinking I wouldn't hear from them before the advertised 2 day turn around, I was surprised to get a call later the same day with an appt. invitation to see the GP. Well I have to say I was well impressed. I saw the GP 2 days later who was polite and reassurring. I also needed a prescription which the GP was able to send direct to the pharmacy next door with a click of a mouse! Amazing! Very pleased with the experience! Brilliant new system that I will defo be using from now on. Just to say my 'fairly satisfied' review of telephone access is mainly because I didn't call on this occasion, they called me. Also the 8am call is really naff! So glad we have this new system now.

Thank you for your feedback of your experience here at the surgery, we are always glad to get feedback and i we are pleased that patients feel we are doing the best for them to been seen either face to face or via an E consult or a telephone consultation, tailored to whatever their needs are and their convenience. As always with patient care we do our upmost to ensure that they are seen by the appropriate clinician as quickly as possibly. I will pass on the feedback to all involved and will share this as a positive learning event where we can show that the E consult system works well for patients needs who are not always available to come into the surgery.
