I’m so impressed by the nurse who carried out my smear test this morning. She had everything set up before I arrived, she was really thorough in explaining the process of the test itself, results, possible outcomes & follow up. It put me completely at ease! But not only that, she completed the procedure in 1 minute flat, and it was uncomfortable but relatively pain free. Sure- I’ve had some bad experiences in the past. But on the other hand, I’ve very rarely experienced a health appointment quite so positive before. So I feel that this nurse deserves some recognition. I feel that many other health professionals, practice managers and even commissioners could learn so much from this nurse’s approach to her profession and her patients. Truly outstanding. I’m so grateful.

Logging an issue via the online consultation is fast and easy. Followed up today to check my request was in the queue, got clear information from reception on where my request was and why. Always find the reception team here really helpful and able to give you plenty of information on surgery process. Always really knowledgeable and helpful.

honestly, i’ve only been with this surgery for maybe a month now and i’m already blown away by how much of a contrast my experience has been with the team here vs my old surgery. from the courtesy calls to check i’m still ok for appointments, the slick onboarding process, or the friendly nurses and receptionists, i just wish i’d transferred here years ago instead of being frustrated and disheartened for so many years. i was dreading yesterday. it was my first smear since 2020 - an event which left me, quite frankly, traumatised (the nurse was so rough that not only did the pain at the time leave me in tears, but i was in pain for days after. despite my tears at the time, she told me to ‘get over it’ and ‘pull myself together’. i was devastated. the nurse yesterday knew nothing about this (i never told anyone other than my partner) but she was so friendly and calming that the whole experience was over before i knew it. never mind the fact she seemed to genuinely care about my wellbeing. huge thumbs up from me!

I was extremely disappointed to find out that due to an injury I am not able to go take my flight, I was asked to complete a easyjet medical declaration tick box form, that it was going to cost £50 to complete! I am outraged a simple form that takes 2 minutes to complete they are charging £50.

The GP I had for my 5pm appointment on 19/09/2023 was absolutely fantastic. He was very polite , knowledgeable, and made you feel at ease. The lady at the reception had great customer service skills. She was very helpful!

I always have a good experience with the practice. The e-consult is really easy to use and someone has gotten back to me within 2 days. The doctors I've seen have been really helpful and helped advocate for me when I was struggling to get seen at the hospital about hip arthritis at a young age. I particularly want to mention the Health and Wellbeing Coach at the practice, who was so good at helping me through a tough time, and giving me the tools to keep facing the hurdles. I had never done this type of coaching before and it was so unbelievably good, I would truly recommend it to anyone!
