I came in today for a cervical smear. I was feeling anxious as I’ve had bad experiences in the past but the nurse was kind, caring and really put me at ease. The procedure was done gently and I hardly felt any discomfort.

This practice is very well run overloaded but coping very well. The vibe is very good very clean practice nice feeling when coming in and immediate treatment is given when needed. I had pneumonia and i was given the best care at the practice i was sent straight to a&e by my doctors surgery

The diabetic nurse was fantastic, very knowledgeable in her specialism, with an excellent manner, very thorough and professional and she made me feel at ease. I left the appointment feeling cared for and informed.

Had to go for routine check up and M**** really made me feel relaxed and comfortable- thank you! She talked me to through the procedure, played calming music and answered questions I had. She took me seriously when I discussed my worries.

The nurse I saw for a smear test was so gentle and considerate which put me at ease as a having a this test is not the most pleasant experience.

I wanted to leave a review following a positive experience at a cervical screening appointment this morning. The nurse spent time explaining what would happen in the appointment, when I would receive my results and how to interpret them and what to do if I don’t receive my results. She was kind and maintained/promoted my dignity at all times. I thought it was important to feedback as this hasn’t always been my experience over the years. Admittedly it may be that other nurses haven't had as much time, training or expertise to complete the appointment in the same manner. I know many women feel quite vulnerable going for their screening and so it’s so important that it is a positive experience to ensure they continue to engage and promote it with their family and friends .

I moved here a couple of years ago from another GP in the local area and I couldn’t be happier. The staff on reception are polite, friendly and helpful. The form system you can use online makes it easier to get an appointment without hanging on the phone for ages. All the medical staff I have interacted with have been professional and kind. I would recommend this GP surgery.
