    I come to the practice very rarely, mostly because is nearly impossible to get appointment. But this was periodical screening a had to attend, I took nearly an hour to get trough to book appointment, for 8am. I arrived on time, they were only opening main door. While I was waiting in the queue I received message that “I did not attend my appointment”!! Rushed to reception pushing in front of other patient to learn that it was shouted (through the glass screen) “who has booked appointment” and note about it next to reception. Logically this information should be by the door not at the reception.I was told I won’t be seen because it will affect whole clinic like it didn’t affect my schedule today and when I had to book another visit. I keep getting messages to book blood pressure check, I think I’m safer not going.

  2. Review titled Reception staff are not helpful

    I have been calling everyday and told the same thing by reception staff, that no appointments are available. The staff are not helpful and don't have good telephone manners. The GP have recommended seeing me face to face and has been put on the notes but each time I call the reception they tell me to call 8am in the morning, I have been doing this everyday and they say the same thing - no appointments available today, call again tomorrow.

    Having waited 8 months, my daughter's appointment was cancelled with no explanation. Having followed the automated switchboard instructions, I call-waited for 90 minutes. When I finally spoke to someone, I was told I needed to call someone else but no alternative phone number was given to me. I was then told, aggressively, that I had prevented other patients being able to get through and was hung up on. I do understand that services are stretched but your systems are what are causing inefficiencies and to suggest that individuals who try to make contact are the fault is offensive.

    it is very rude and patronising and very disrespectful and manipulative towards anyone and the staff could be more nice and polite and more helpful towards patients and whoever walks in to speak to an receptionist or book an appointment plus the app it isn't very good because it is hard to do an e consultation or book an appointment their for this surgery isn't recommended at all

    I was so pleased to have had such a great service from the receptionist when I called to make an appointment. She did everything she could to ensure that I got an appointment during my half term week, saying she knew how hard it was for working women to take time off work. I was lucky enough to get the same lady after the doctor told me to get a further face to face appointment. again, she went out of her way to ensure I got an appointment that was convenient to me. Such a caring attitude goes far and means a lot to patients. I would definitely recommend this practice. I have been with them since they opened and wouldn't go anywhere else. the service is outstanding!
