Review titled Child flu vaccine
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by James Stevens - Posted on 07 October 2024
Phoned to book a child flu vaccine to be told on first call they only have weekday lunch time appointments (how does this work for working parents?). Called a second time a few days later to be told that they don't have any appointments available and cannot give details on when appointments will be available, i just need to keep calling back.

Review titled Technology failure
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 24 July 2024
This is a process failure and a warning to other patients. I was triaged, was asked for my concern and asked to rate my concern. Then I was emailed with the team's 'action plan' and telephoned and asked to send in 4 days of BP readings. I was sent links to my phone twice a day with a form to complete. All went fine from my side. I heard absolutely nothing from the surgery after the test period. Two weeks later I inquired and was told there was no record of any of the readings I had submitted on their links. I feel that I should have been contacted after the four days to see what had happened. What happened to the 'action plan'? It all just went into the ether which is not good enough.

Review titled Rude receptionists
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 23 July 2024
This morning unfortunately due to circumstances out of my control I have had to cancel my appointment. My appointment was at 830am Have been on the phone since 8am when lines opened to call, the phone was finally answered at 820am When I to the reception I had to cancel my appointment she was fine and took my details. She then said 830am? The huffed down the phone. Completely unnecessary when I imagine plenty of people do not call to cancel. I've never had a problem with GPs at this surgery but I'm getting a bit sick and tired of the receptionists, the have been rude on more than one occasion. Talk to you like you're an inconvenience.

Review titled Great Vaccinations for Babies
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Audrey - Posted on 04 June 2024
We’ve been to Balmore Park for my son’s vaccinations since he was born. Every single time, we’ve had the same Baby Imms practitioner and she is absolutely wonderful. The kindest and most patient with our son. Thanks so much for treating our little guy so well!

Review titled Car Park Management
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 08 May 2024
The surgery car park was completely full today before 9am, which is not unusual in my experience. There were 36 cars parked in the patient spaces and quite a few more spilling out onto the street, but only 10 people in the waiting room. Were there really 26 people being seen or isn't it time to start managing the car park so your patients can access it?

Review titled Terrible reception
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anthony G - Posted on 16 May 2024
On 15 May 2024, around 9am, an elderly man was having difficulty entering his details into the login unit on the wall in reception. He went to the reception desk to ask for help. The receptionist in a condescending voice to him to enter his date of birth "as 12, not 1 and 2". She then repeated this in a loud and condescending voice. I wonder whether she would have said this to a younger person. After my asthma appointment, which was 15 minutes delayed from 08:50 to 09:05, I approached the reception desk as I wanted to make a GP appointment. The reception would not allow me to do this. She checked and told me that I had an Anime account and I had to make an appointment via the website. I have logged into the website this evening. This indicates that appointments can be made at the Surgery. I had a very helpful asthma review... so it wasn't all bad.

Review titled Anima 😱😱😱
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 15 April 2024
The Anima triage system forces you to fill out a huge questionnaire revealing all the information currently held in your medical records each time you need an appointment. You then wait 2 days before your GP appointment invitation arrives - only to discover Anima will not allow you to actually book an appointment - so you then have to sit in a 20 minute queue to speak to the receptionist and book the appointment that she used to book for you directly in 5 minutes....
