    Can’t fault the service on the 3rd time of booking within the 3weeks. Previous bookings made online,3rd actually has a call and a doctor appointment was made Only at this point I learned that my previous appointments were not with a doctor but a nurse practitioner. Was not impressed at all. If I wanted a nurse I would have booked one. So got 2 prescriptions of which I shouldn’t of had(if I was a patient that pays for them I’ll be very upset as I would of paid £20 for meds I didn’t need)

    Dear Rachel We always try and ensure patients are booked are with the most appropriate clinician. Our Advanced Nurse Practitioners are highly skilled and able to deal with a number of issues. If you want to be booked with a GP for a routine appointment then we do operate a wait list you can join. If, however, you have an acute on the day need to see a clinician then you will be triaged to the most appropriate available clinician at that time. Our Advanced Nurse Practitioners are fully supported by a dedicated GP all day to help with any issues that may arise. I am sorry to note that you feel let down.     I was given an on the day appointment. Wait time was 20 minutes. The GP was helpful and reassured me with a problem.

    Cannot fault the service I received at this practice from the receptionist to the doctor I saw ,I didn't have to wait long for my ECG either and got the results straight away

    I know it's no longer the 'good old days' but my experience is as follows: My husband needed an 'on the day appointment' so he used Callback and was seen by a Doctor in the afternoon who was very thorough and put his mind at rest. I myself wanted a routine appointment with a specific doctor who knows our family history, having looked after my father whilst he was alive and also myself over the years. I used the callback system, received a call and was sent a text with a form to complete to request an appointment. I was then sent days and times that appointments were available. I saw the Doctor approximately 2 weeks later, who was very thorough, friendly and down to earth. I have also had stitches removed recently and the nurse was very kind and it didn't hurt a bit!

    Things seem to be improving at this surgery. Appointment (giving blood for testing) went very smoothly with little waiting.

    Extremely unlikely to see a g p now days. Also very rare to get an appointment when you want one. Had to wait just over a week to have a blood test. To tell the receptionist your symptoms can sometimes be quite embarrassing ,as when I was asked my symptoms she said how do you know that's what your suffering when those symptoms are common at my age.explain that one.

You can ask to be placed on a GP waiting list at any time if that is your wish, please just ask the contact centre and they will facilitate this request for you. We do operate a triaging system to ensure patients are seen by the most appropriate clinician; this is common across all primary care providers now.     I couldn’t get an appointment to see a doctor they offered me a telephone call I got the call yesterday after a few weeks when I called the doctors which she wasn’t helpful at all it was like she didn’t know what she was talking about I do think if your asking to see a doctor you should be allowed.

    Booking an appointment is difficult and convoluted. First you call, then you get sent a link, then you complete a form that goes back and forth by text. Then you get a link to book appointment. It took 5 hours from 1st call to appointment booked. Talking with a human would be so much quicker. Then when we got the link to book, there were no after school appointments or options for a different time of day, other than between 8 and 9.30am. My son was late for school as a result. We didn't even get to see a Doctor so aren't convinced about the diagnosis and treatment received. The nurse practitioner was late by 30 minutes. We booked the appointment for 8am to minimise disruption to my son's school day. Overall a very inpersonal, unprofessional experience. I would not recommend this practice.

    I have been with this practice for more than one year. It is difficult to get a day to see a GP, the waiting list is long. I have been trying to see a gynaecologist and it was difficult for me to get an appointment with one. Over all , the receptionist are nice and friendly, and they return calls as well

    Dear Patient Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. If there is a specific GP you want to see for a non urgent routine issues then their waiting list times can be variable. If you have a need for a gynae referral then the wait times for being seen sit with the hospital and are outside of our control sadly, but if your symptoms are worryingly urgent then we will always do what we can to help expedite your appointment in secondary care.     I was seen swiftly and the lady I saw was very helpful and attentive and listened to my concerns. I didn’t want surgery or any more medication for my problem and was given exercises to try. I also managed to obtain a quick appointment for an injection in my thumb joint.
