I went for the “dreaded” smear test today and I had been putting it off for a while but as soon as I went in, kt made me feel at ease, was very informative and just generally so kind and friendly! Thank you so much!

Staff where friendly and helpful once I explained why I Missed an appointment and told them my circumstances. I explained my dilemma and concern over reason for making an appointment and they suggested I come on next day and they Will help. They held up their promise and was booked in for that morning thus helping my anxiety over the situation I was in.

Having had a fleeting call and had it terminated before I could answer it. I could not contact by phone or reply By messaging. It simply is not good enough.

I have just reviewed our phone calls and can confirm our pharmacist has called twice this morning, both times your phone rang but then went to voicemail, on the first occasion at 09:02 she left a message but on the second occasion when she tried at 09:26 she hung up when it went to voicemail. I am very grateful for the help of the receptionist today, she went over and above to help me when I was unfortunately too late for an appointment. Equally I was so grateful for the help of the doctor I saw for her friendly, compassionate and thorough care.

We went on holiday to Cumbria and I misjudged the number of daily tablets and they ran out. I rang the surgery and passed on the name of the pharmacy I had been given near where we were staying. When I called there later that afternoon my details has been passed to them and I was able to get my prescription. Thank you for such an efficient service.

The doctor was on time, he listened gave me a thorough examination and was able to prescribe medications also a date to return that week and for further testing. What more could want

please thank the receptionist taking calls for appointments on friday afternoon/evening , i had a real problem getting registered on system online , she was very helpful , i managed to get registered on sat morning , i am not sure how but it worked . i think my daughter made a complaint on my behalf as i was very upset , please accept sincere apologies for this , i care for my husband and also my mother and have been very stressed of late as i have some health issues of my own . please thank the receptionist for her help

Having left my meds at home the surgery arranged for a prescription which allowed me to collect meds from a local Boots chemist. Crisis averted. Thank you.

The doctor came across as very caring and understanding. He listened to my Dad and explained everything carefully to him. We didn’t feel rushed at all.

This my second review in this year. Last time surgery was highlighting junior doctors strike and staff illness was the reason for not having any GP appointments. Feedback reassured me that gaps will be filled by GP working additional hours and by locums helps. I tried again for an appointment today for my son and instruction was to go to urgent care. Do I able to see a doctor in the near future whenever someone feeling sick/unwell?

Dear Prakasan I'm sorry you were not able to get an appointment, we are limited in how many urgent appointments we are able to offer to keep GP workload safe for patients. This means that we do sometimes need to signpost patients to other services. We have just recruited another GP which will increase our overall number of appointments by 90 per week. We hope to be able to recruit more GPs later this year depending on the funding agreed for General Practice by NHS England. I do hope your son was able to access the treatment and care he needed.
