    after waiting a long time to get through, the receptionist seemed cross with me, I had 2 hospital appt's sunday 18th september both with medication , when I chased up both precrisptions, one sent the prescription by the computer. the other I posted via frontdoor of hopton. Unfortunetly the receptionist Did not understand me and repeated several times. the receptionist stated A letter on the 8th sept, that I am alright and needed no help. However I did not receive my first appt until 18th Sept (gyne). so how could you have any information when I have not seen or spoken to the gyne dept. 2) (Dermatology) I posted my prescription through Hopton letterbox. I need these prescriptions now please. Im am ringing gyne to see where my prescription is, and sending a photocopy of the photocopy.

    Dear Patricia Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. Firstly, I apologise that you had to wait a long time to get through to speak with us. We have had high levels of staff absence over the last week or so due to Covid. We are also in the process of training new Receptionists, so this should improve in the near future. You might find it helpful to know that you can contact us via our website for any reason at www.thebeachesmedicalcentre.co.uk. I apologise for the confusion regarding your letters and prescriptions. If you could kindly contact us via the website to confirm if your query regarding your prescription has not already been sorted. It is likely that there was a delay between you having your appointment at the Hospital and us receiving the letter from the Hospital which might have added to any confusion, but again I apologise for this less than satisfactory experience.     Saw Dr May today for my return to work plan. He has been the most supportive person I’ve ever met. He gave me time and listened to me. He made me realise I was being bullied and his recommendations has helped me enormously. He didn’t want to offer me drugs as part of recovery he just listened and gave me time to recover from a period of anxiety and depression. Today I beat the bully and I’ve been offered a new job. I’m moving on with my life after a dark period. Because of his advice I’ve regained my confidence and was able to sit through a return to work meeting confident and assertive. I can not be more thankful that he was the doctor I got when I made the initial appointment. Thankyou

    it is almost impossible to get an appointment or to speak to some unless you want to wait for hours on the phone only to be hung up on. No appointments available to book online, cant get through on the phone. Its an absolute shambles of a system. Management should be held accountable.

    Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback. I am very sorry that this has been your recent experience of our Practice. We have, over recent weeks had some shortages of staff due to covid infections which has meant the wait to get through on the telephone has been longer than we would like. We have also recently hired more Receptionists who are now in training -this will improve our wait time on the telephone in the near future.
