    Useful assessment by the Fcp Physiotherapist. She gave helpful link to easy at home exercises and advice for submitting a self referral. Reassuringly, acknowledgement already received that I have been placed on their waiting list for treatment.

    Very good service I had with nurse for my appointment didn't have to wait lo g my appointment time running on time nurse was hopefull and very friendly explain everything with my injection and wad gentle didn't feel a thing and afterwards explain what I feel like and I would be contacted in 6 months for my run up injection so very happy with the service that I was pervided and signing in on the automatic service was easy and very easy to follow I woul recommend beacon practice to anyone that needs to sign in with a doctor

    I requested an e-consolte as I could not find a heading for my questions online. I went into Beacon Medical on Mudgeway, Plympton and they arranged a call back. I was expecting a day or two, but it was over 2 weeks that I had to wait. The day of the consolt the doctor, from South Africa, called and was very helpful, arranged everything "blood tests" the next day. The following day I had my results, which was a great relief. All in all, a great result, but a very slow start.

    Very happy with recent service: had a phone call from my GP the day after I requested a consultation on the NHS App. This was followed up with an in person appointment at the surgery a couple of days later, and a subsequent X-ray appointment at Derriford Hospital only a couple of days after that. My GP was very easy to talk to and helpful.

    Receptionists always helpful. Doctor called when promised was really helpful with information he passed on to me. Left me feeling satisfied

    Phoned to make an appointment for an asthma review and another appointment for a diabetes review. Only offered one day for each and I couldn't make it. They only do appointments 3 weeks in advance. I was unable to make a suitable appointment. Some of the receptionists that work there are like Adolf H.

    Waiting weeks for appointments Trying to get an appointment with a GP is non existent (maybe a telephone call) palmed off to other medical professionals. Time waiting in the triage - then gp reviews appts - then passes to pharmacist- then the pharmacist asks for sample. (Why didn’t the gp just ask for the sample at initial review - wasting time waiting) Reception staff are the same with wasting time instead of logic. I told them the doc told me on the telephone to get an appt with a nurse, but they did want to book it in until another receptionist team reviewed the appointment request. I highlighted why would I need them to ok an appt when a ‘Doctor’ has told me to get to booked. Suddenly logic kicked in and appt was made without the other reception teams oversight. The one nurse I have seen in person was lovely and kind. Surgery looks extremely worn down and not very inviting.

    I always find the doctor is very thorough although I haven’t seen her face to face but she always spend time with me on the phone. I find the new app is so much better and easier to use so I don’t have to self diagnose myself each time and the practice got back to me within the day for an appointment over the phone.

    When collecting a prescription from Boots Chemist I was asked if the pharmacist could check my blood pressure. On checking he found it high and asked me to record my readings for a week then hand in to Health Centre. I asked receptionist if I could have a Doctor’s phone call. I’ve had the call from a Doctor and advised to have a health check. I’ve booked the check for 1045 07.02.25

    Put in an online consultation which was extremely easy to use and simplified (old econsult system was tedious) and was sent a text message the same day giving me an initial date for a telephone triage. spoke to the physio on the indicated date who discussed my symptoms and booked me in for a face-to-face appointment when it was convenient. Plympton Health Centre is a friendly surgery with amazing staff who directed me to the correct area. Saw the physio, felt extremely comfortable in the consultation and was given clear advice as to what the next steps are. 11/10 would reccomend
