    Poor. Muddled. At times disorganised which leads to wasteful (in time) thing done. Seriuously neglected and compromised son in lasw's health. Takes up to rwo weeks to press a key and semnd repeat precription to my pharmacy supplier

    Even though it's still difficult to see a GP face to face , to staff are very respectful and will do as much as they can to help . Iv only seen 1 GP recently, and as a new patient to the practice, I was highly satisfied, he listened to everything I said, and together we work out a solution or at least a plan moving forward.

    Booked a blood test as requested, receptionist booked me in for 19th September, had a phone call from surgery to say Dr had requested blood test by 3rd so we need to bring forward, had to ring surgery was on hold for 24 minutes, was told only 10th was available, I pointed out that I’d been left a message to say needed doing by 3rd, rudely told that was all that was available and should be ok, a second voicemail was then left for me to contact surgery as blood test needed doing by the 3rd!! Had to ring surgery again, on hold for 35 minutes, amazingly an appointment was “ found” for the 3rd at 4.15. Left work early on the 3rd ( hours I have to repay to work) got to surgery only to be told no appointment for me !! Had the messages to show receptionist, she went away to try and “ squeeze me in “ ( annoying as I had an appointment so shouldn’t needed to be squeezed in !) came back and told me there was nobody who could do it ! Could I come in the following day ! Working hours for me are 8-6 so no I couldn’t, best was an appointment 2 days later, again resulting in me having to move my work shift and again having to repay hours to work. Spent ages on hold to surgery in the first instance in response to being asked to call back, why is there not a different telephone number for patients who have been asked to call the surgery back ? Would make more sense than having to go through the whole waiting process over and over again. Not very helpful to patients who have to work Mon- Fri. After telling one receptionist I was working on a certain day I was quoted “ well it’s your health so in your best interest to get to that appointment “ ! Some lovely members of staff there but also a few who are not so !

    When I phoned the receptionist the lady was so helpful to me, she was very understanding and kind nothing seemed to be a problem. For which I was very grateful.

    I telephoned for a phone consultation. I explained my situation and the receptionist was excellent. She understood and helped me get the appointment I needed. When I spoke to the doctor again she was most helpful. She explained my ongoing treatment. The service I had was exemplary. Thank you.

    Had to visit for the very first time for an ECG. Nurse was lovely, very professional and sorted it out in quick time and with a smile First class 👍

    I had a serious medical occurrence over a weekend. Had difficulty getting through to the surgery as soon as it opened on the Monday. Related what had happened and the receptionist agreed I needed an urgent appointment. Then I was told my GP had no appointments that day. I was told that I would be called back. Luckily for me I am a nurse at Derriford and had bloods taken and a CT scan ordered by a consultant within an hour of speaking to her. If I had not had this privilege I would have been left worrying and feeling ill. The eventual call back did nothing to restore my faith as I was only offered a stool sample test. I was diagnosed with colitis and severe rectal bleeding. I’m afraid I have absolutely no faith in the Health Centre.

    Service was good on initial doctor contact, I was advised to return if issue continued. It did and I had to go through a second econsult and advised to wait a further 9 days for a second consultation, the doctor was brilliant it was just the waiting time !
