    Following an e consult I was given a timely phone call consultation and subsequently offered an appointment very quickly. The GP was excellent in discussing my problem

    Recently went with a problem but through treatment, a totally unexpected very serious illness was discovered. Everything happened so quickly. Was treated with respect and care.

    I booked a shingles jab (2nd one) on the phone. Lady told me only one appt available in June. Perfect When I went for the jab at Chaddlewood the appt hadn't been booked Luckily the time I was told was still free so got my jab

    When you eventually get through on the phone after upwards of 30 minutes, staff are helpful and obviously doing their best under extreme pressure. My elderly parents have given up even trying to get through on the phone - they feel defeated. The impression is that the practice has taken on far too many patients and cannot cope with demand - patients are left with no alternative but to call 111 or 999. My experience while trying to get help for my elderly mother was horrible - I had to really be persistent and make a fuss to get her seen and then I was spoken to by the doctor like I was overreacting and that my mother was fine, although plainly she was not. Within 48 hours she was back in hospital after unnecessary suffering. The most annoying thing was the doctor’s insistence that we call the surgery for any issues arising - the fact that it is so hard to get through is not the doctor’s fault - as they informed me - but it is the reality of the situation and if we don’t continue to raise the problem then how will it ever change. I know the pressure health services are under but keeping quiet about it helps nobody in the long run.

    Econsult is not intuitive but manageable. In this case after spending time filling one in I still had to ring the surgery. 10 day wait before talking to doctor. Once I was on the phone to her things went very well.

    After phoning surgery i was advised to use the e consult method. I logged on but then found it was actually closed for the day. First thing the following day i filled the e consult out but when I reached the end it advised me it couldn't deal with this and to phone the surgery!!

    Since they operated the online form, the surgery has gone downhill in my opinion. You cannot just phone up and book an appointment anymore as you keep getting told to fill in the on line form. The doctors keep changing so there is no continuity with a doctor/patient. I've been seeing a doctor for a particular symptom and I've seen certain specialists but no diagnosis as yet but I've had no correspondence as to what's going to happen next as I'm still suffering from the same symptoms and it's now been 75 plus days since I first raised the issue.
