  2. Review titled A detailed and informative visit

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Richard Aylen - Posted on 01 March 2024

I was lucky enough to have my health discussed with some final year medical students and the senior partner. I felt that all aspects of my health concerns were thoroughly discussed and the way forward made clear. I couldn't have asked for more.

  3. Review titled Seeing a doctor.

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 28 February 2024

Having hurt my back, on my initial contact a pharmacist rang me. He stated that I needed a face to face with a Doctor and he would get them to contact me. I had to contact surgery again as the pharmacist failed to pass on any information. I had to wait a week to see a Doctor. Having said that, once seen by the Doctor I cannot fault the care I was given. I highly recommended the care from the staff. I am disappointed that it is impossible to see a Doctor without jumping through hoops. I knew I needed to see a Doctor but had to waste the time of a pharmacist before I could. I would have liked to have seen a doctor sooner due to the impact on my health.

  7. Review titled Prompt, efficient service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Elizabeth - Posted on 16 February 2024

Xray referral made within days of request; xray results reviewed by GP on same day as xray and reassuring text and written result sent, again, same day. Next steps discussed with GP in appointment 5 working days later. Excellent service, professional and reassuring approach, effective combination of technology and face to face. Thank you

  9. Review titled Review appointment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Ian Brown - Posted on 28 February 2024

I received a review appointment which I did not expect. Saw my GP on time and he gave me information about my itchy skin that made complete sense and I now understand how it occurred after I’d had a fall. Thank you

  10. Review titled PSA test

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 01 March 2024

On requesting a PSA blood test as clearly encouraged by the leaflets in Patford waiting room I was told I couldn’t have it until I had a ‘counselling’ appointment with a doctor first. When I tried to book none were available and I was put on a waiting list. I finally saw a doctor 29/2 who said it was a waste of time as it could give a false negative or false positive and so was not offered a blood test. I found the whole experience an a completely pointless waste of my time. Also I have three monthly B12 injections for which I have been trying to book since December only to be told I can’t book as the system fills up too quickly! Surely if I need an appointment for the injection on a certain day it doesn’t matter if it’s booked this week, last week or last month?
