Above & beyond as always. Never had an issue getting an appointment. I am always happy to wait for non urgent appointments but on the very rare occasion it is urgent the surgery has always been excellent

If you ring at 8am or 11am there is never a problem ever getting an appointment to be triaged over the phone, sometimes within 30 minutes!If the drs feel a face to face appt is needed, you are given one, or prescribed medicines online to be collected from excellent pharmacy onsite, if its your chosen pharmacy. Extremely satisfied with the service. Polite, friendly staff. Entire surgery spotlessly clean.Very highly recommended.

Booked via entry booking machine (easy as) 20 mins before scheduled appt. Within the time it took me to sit down my name appeared on digital display. Went to displayed Rm, sat down and was immediately ushered in. Blood taken painlessly and I was out. Then needed some holiday info from reception which they provided on hard copy. I was out 5 mins before my scheduled time :)

I was happy that the Dr took the time to listen. Booked an early blood test for me and offered a follow up appointment when results were available. I thought she covered everything

I had an asthma review yesterday. It was extremely professional and brilliantly carried out. I came away feeling that someone was on my side. A new medication regime, which was enhanced by the onsite Chemist, as I was able to leave Blackthorn surgery with my new medications.

I had an appointment to provide a blood sample for routine testing. The registration process was quick and easy, the appointment was on time, the sample was very quickly and skilfully done, and the result was posted within hours. What more could you ask?

As I can’t mentioned staff names. My named GP has been fantastic. She had put me on a the road to recovery after very near critical life experience back in October 2021. From that initial visit neither of us expected a year long plus hospital trips. The amount of letter writing she has done to each department been fantastic. As well as the specialists teams I have dealt with as t Southampton General Hospital. I have more hospital trips to go. So this is my time to say thank you
