Doctor was fantastic in helping me with all my problems, no judgement and listened. Pharmacy staff very pleasant and polite. Never had any problems with this surgery ever.

Despite staff shortages the overall process was quick and efficient. The nurses who administered my vaccination was very friendly.

I have been with Blackwater for over 40 years, and it has to be said, it had lost it way, so I left and went to another Practice, that wasn't a good move, and in the meantime Blackwater had made many positive changes, and what a difference. So I left the other surgery as it was so dark , dim, and negative and I could not remain there, so in April 2024 I asked to return to Blackwater and I am so glad I did. The changes are amazing, every member of staff are helpful, happy, and nothing is too much trouble. The appointments are no longer a problem and the whole atmosphere at the Practice is uplifting, bright and cheery, so well done Blackwater for making the changes and for bringing your Practice to the top of any list. I am certainly telling my friends and family to sign up to the best Doctors Practice in Maldon. Thank you for listening to your patients and making the changes that were so needed.

A very friendly and helpful practice. All staff I had contact with were polite, patient and helpful. The ANP I saw was very attentive and listened to me, whilst being thorough throughout my appointment. I had no problem getting an appointment and was seen on time.

The surgery staff were very welcoming. Was seen on time. The doctor I saw was very considerate of my reason for being there. He listened to what I said and was very compassionate! Very happy with the service i received throughout my visit.

Given the lack of doctors in Maldon moving from this practice isn't really an option, which I would do at the drop of a hat if possible. I don't see a doctor often as I'm reasonably healthy but my blood pressure came up at a recent NHS health check done by an NHS nurse as high. I recorded my readings for a few days & they were high so saw a doctor to report it who did 1 reading & said it was fine despite me having to hold the velcro on the collar tight to my arm as it wouldn't grip properly. I now have my blood test results through & came up as having an issue which I was given a medical name for & told to "Google it". No literally those words. Given that one of the repercussions was apparently blood cancer that was very a very encouraging find on the internet!!

Getting an appointment I found much easier than before using the call back system. The GP was very thorough,helpful and professional and responded to my questions effectively which gave me confidence. Having been with this practice for 42 years it is nice to see it on the up again after some very frustrating and stressful experiences. Well done Blackwater and I hope the notable improvements prove to be permanent.

The first time in 50 years I had to get help from a GP and the service I got from Black Water Medical centre was excellent. I was able to use the call back system to get an appointment and referral to specialist and all the investigations were done promptly. I was lucky enough to use private insurance for the procedure and after care from the surgery was second to none, with answers obtained on the same day following econsult. Ability to book online appointment with a clinician of one's choice is a step forward. Great overall service.
