I placed a online repeat prescription request for pain medication. The request was rejected stating to early and requesting that I contact the medical centre. I placed a second request with a detailed explanation as too why I needed the medications since I could not get through on the phone. I could not access the online booking system since this was temporarily unavailable. After 2 days I contacted my McMillan nurse to intervene, she experienced the same problem and was unable to contact the practice. I have pancreatic cancer and due to an increase in my pain, I was advised to increase my medications sometime ago hence the reason I've used more and requested a repeat prescription early. I will have used all of my meds shortly. My complaint his the issues with contacting the medical centre, my condition is documented for all GPs to see. Yet they could not have given me a quick call so I could explain why I submitted a request earlier than normal or even read the note attached to the repeat prescription. I have a lot to contend with and this more uncaring service does not help.

Today I booked my appt using the Triage online service which was very efficient and I was booked for an appt later on in the day. The GP who I saw on the day (who I am so sorry I forgot her name) was absolutely brilliant. She was so lovely and caring and really made me feel comfortable. She was very thorough which again made me feel a lot better during the consolation. It never felt rushed or anything too. She also chased up another query I had which again was very kind and appreciated. Just wanted to leave the review to the Dr I had to say thank you ! A brilliant Dr

I've received excellent care during recent mental health issues and symptoms leading up to a recent cancer diagnosis. I was given time to explain my problems, prescribed appropriate meds, and was always able to reach a GP for an appointment or telephone consultation by using the NHS app when needed. I was referred quickly for cancer investigations and am now receiving hospital treatment for this, and was first seen within a few days of the referral. I'm very happy with the care I've received and wanted to highlight this and say thank you.

Attended the Bramhall surgery today - morning 7 August 2024. GP and receptionists were all brilliant - very kind , efficient and helpful. The GP partner who I saw really was exceptional - he was extremely pleasant , listened and explained everything to me. I cannot fault at all , can only 100 % recommend. Brilliant service all around. Thank you everyone : )

The doctor I saw this morning has just shown great care and professionalism dealing with my son’s symptoms. She reassured him very gently that, whilst alarming at first sight, his symptoms were nothing threatening. We’re very grateful, thank you.

Id just like to say that I have used this triage service on numerous occasions and it is fantastic. The last time I have used it is today 17 July 2024. The service has been efficient fast and productive and I'm very impressed and tell other people. The only constructive feedback I would give is that I have to wait until 8.00am to click on the link sent. I would have liked to do it the night before and appreciate that it wouldn't be actioned until the morning at 8am. Dr C and Dr W got back to me extremely quickly

I was seen by a Dr today and despite him running late, he honestly made me feel heard and cared for and like a patient rather than a number. I've not had this serviced from a Dr for years. He's an asset to the surgery and NHS during these strained times and I needed to have this type of experience today as I've got to the point mentally, I'm not managing with the pain I'm going through. He has also booked me in with a follow up appointment next week as he stated himself, he doesn't see it good practice to treat me today and send me on my way and that continuity is better for care to excel. I honestly really appreciate the practise booking me in after triaging my online form on Monday and getting me seen so quickly.

I’ve been going here for at least 4/5 years now and in this time I’ve been misdiagnosed twice and everytime they just send you off with nothing. I’ve had a sore throat for near a week now and I already suffer with swallowing through other conditions. I explained my fear and my concerns to be told it’s acid reflux and sent on my way. The pain is now travelling up my ear but it’s still acid reflux right!? Hahaha

I became quite ill suddenly and the care I've received from the practice over the last month has been fantastic. In the last 2 weeks I have needed 5 appointments & each request has been dealt with quickly. One particular doctor has been outstanding, he quickly realised I'd been prescribed incorrect medication by A & E and was causing me issues , he rang the hospital to try and get me seen too immediately, I was very upset & worried at the time but the doctor kept me calm and sent me to A & E with a comprehensive health history, the follow up care with the practice has since been excellent, so often we only hear negative issues but I couldn't be more grateful to this practice for taking such good care of me during a stressful time .

I was put on hold for 30 minutes on the faulty telephone line which crackled and was on a start stop loop. The receptionist denied it was faulty. I wanted to chase up my earlier online booking request but the receptionist couldn’t help with this. I don’t believe that a couple of lines of text and grainy mobile phone photo can determine if and when I should see a gp. A patient needs to talk to the doctor. I was advised by reception staff to speak to the government if I don’t like it. What shabby service.
