Review titled Great service in a good environment.
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 07 October 2023
I came back from a short break with a medical issue and was too late to get an appointment with my GP. I went to the walk in centre and despite a number of people in front of me I was seen by a doctor within an hour. She was very thorough and diagnosed my issue and gave me good advice for treatment. A very good and efficient service from receptionists to doctors in a clean and calm environment.

Review titled Walk-in review
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have used the walk-in twice, once for my toddler son and once for myself. On both occasions the service was excellent. Not a long wait, and when I saw the doctor about a respiratory issue he was very helpful, showing good professional concern and didn't make me feel rushed.

Thank goodness for this practice. A relatively small medical problem treated with efficiency thus preventing a more serious condition. Very professional and respectful.

Review titled Necessary facility

I have had to use the walk in centre because I work when surgeries are open . I have been I’ll many times when surgeries are closed ( weekends & bank holidays ) Without these I would end up waiting in A & E for a prescription for antibiotics.

On being poorly visiting my daughter I went to this practice I was treated with professional caring help by all members and a very big thank you to the doctor that made a professional diagnosis and treatment required.

The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. Even though I had a wait, when I saw the dr, I didn’t feel rushed, that I was listened to and was given good treatment

For an emergency this service is invaluable. In my case I needed an antibiotic before foreign travel which my GP practice was unable to give. The short wait was well worth it.

Review titled Kind and friendly staff
Rated 5 stars out of 5

The receptionists were so polite and friendly when I was feeling at my worst which made the whole situation feel better. They were happy to answer all of my (what I deemed silly questions) with a smile and warmth. And the doctor was so lovely too as she helped me. Needless to say if I'm ever in need again I would not hesitate to go to this walk in centre again.

Review titled Incredibly valuable service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Tracey Joyce - Posted on 05 September 2023
Thank goodness for the Brighton Walk-in Health Centre! I honestly don’t know what I would have done without it this summer. I h had to visit twice over the last few weeks, the first time after a call to 111. Both occasions were at the weekend with issues that could not wait till Monday. The alternative would have been the very busy and overstretched A and E Department. All the staff at the Walk-in Centre were highly professional and extremely helpful. Excellent and much needed service. Thank you.

Review titled Better than my GP
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have extreme back pain and my doctor would not see me I had to call the following morning and attempt to make an appointment I am in so much pain and thankfully the walk in service was there to help Understandably they could not write prescriptions for serious pain meds but they did what they could Which was better and far more compassionate than my GP
