We had a medication review with the pharmacistat the surgery. He was very patient and informativeand sent us loads of informationand links we could follow up. Nothing was too much trouble for him. I felt really listened to. The surgery is not great but I couldn't fault the Pharmacist.

Today, My husband use different phone call them at 8:00. I use nearly around one hour and they pick up my phone at 8:58, I cannot believe when a lady receive my call but talk to other person at the same time, I said can you hear me for many time, but a lady still talk to someone, ok I wait they completed their conversation, I hope a lady she know what is her doing now. But obviously, she is not focus on her job, she cut my phone off. My husband call the center at 8:00am. It also use more than one hour and one lady received the call and told to us, today fully booked!!

I have always had a good experience with this practice however in the last few months it’s become really poor. I am told to use their online service but sent in a request for my 11month old son and waited over 2 weeks for a response. Luckily it was a non urgent request but it is unacceptable. I’m currently on hold trying to get through to book an appointment, again for my baby and I’m waiting with no indication of the wait. I am greatly concerned that if I or my family have a more urgent problem I will be unable to reach a GP for help. The patchs services is unavailable due to too many requests.

Today, I found myself in need of booking an appoimnet due a long illness and called GP surgery line ( No other method offer for appoiments). I was met with an exceptionally long wait time, exceeding 2 hours. While I understand that line can be busy, waiting for such an extended period without any indication of my position in the queue was both frustrating and disheartening. After 2 hours waiting i disconected and went to Hospotal Urgent care. What aggravated the situation further was the lack of information provided during the wait. Not knowing how much longer I would have to wait or where I stood in the queue left me feeling helpless and undervalued as a customer. Efficient communication is crucial in such scenarios, and the absence of updates or estimated wait times only served to exacerbate my dissatisfaction. Note: Callback offer after 30 min to 1 hour should be offer without loosing our position in the queue.

I had a medication review with the pharmacist and he was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful. He sent through links and explained what I needed to do to get repeat prescriptions.

My experience with the practice and the GP I saw was amazing and exceeded my expectations. First of all, I am so grateful the surgery is using the Patchs website for appointment requests instead of having to call the surgery and wait for hours. 24 hours after putting in my appointment request I had received a message that my appointment is scheduled for the next day. The GP I saw was an absolute angel! She was so caring and truly listened to me. I felt so grateful and well taken care of. I also had a blood test and ECG the same day. The HCA respected my privacy while I was preparing for the ECG. She too was caring and friendly. Overall I had a good experience and I’m happy I am under this surgery.

Very informative and helpful with interesting guidance re drugs and health issues. After all the problems with making the initial contact with the surgery. The Pharmacist came through with positive info and advice.

This surgery has gone down the hill since taken by the new “contractors”. I spent two hours on the phone to get through a receptionist. I then walked in wet weather with my one year old to make an appointment. I was told to come back later in the afternoon which is fine. I went back home only to receive a text 15 minutes later than appointment has been cancelled and contact the reception again. I got my baby in the pram again and walked up the town only to be told by the surgery manager to go see urgent care!!! Such pathetic level of service, absence of basic empathy at an nhs surgery is truly shocking. The problem isn’t the GP but the people who are running this abhorrent surgery. Just close it permanently than putting patients through stress every day!!

My wife attempted to get an appointment this morning following refferal from 111. She called at 8am (when they advise you to call), this has been a problem for me in the past when I've needed an appointment and not been able to call at this very specific time which is seemingly the only option if you need any type of appointment. She was on hold for well over an hour and had to cancel the call to continue working. The automated message when you call, specifically acknowledges the issue they face with their phone system and preempts your dissapointment in not being able to contact them by asking you to be kind to staff if you do get to speak to them. I've had this experience multiple times on any occasion I've attempted to contact them, both at 8am and at other times. With the volume of other similar reports on this page, I cannot understand how direct interventional action hasn't yet been taken by any relevant authority to improve the service which at best is difficult to access and at worst is verging on pointless in its existence.

Worst service I’ve ever received from a GP practice. You have to stay on the phone for hours to even get to the reception! Waking up at 8am with a newborn and for them to not even pick up the phone is absolutely pathetic. Was told to book a consultation through patches only to go online and the options were not even available. Always have a bad experience booking appointments and can’t wait to find a new GP practice!
