The receptionist is unable to grasp the needs of the patient and it is the same with the Practice manager. My condition has relapsed because the surgery stopped prescribing a medication because of an administration error on their part. I was refused a give doctors appointment , even a telephone by a doctor. My condition is rare and complex , even an experienced GP will find it difficult deal with. The is no grasp of it and the surgery is hiding behind an electronic booking system. About 4 years ago this surgery was in a good shape and provided good service. Since the dedicated older GP s retired we see a sharpe decline in the quality of the services.

I would just like to say how impressed I was with the treatment I received from Brookside Group Practice last Thursday. I have some skin issues at present and my condition was treated with great skill and care. I have a follow up appointment on 20 March.

The staff were all very friendly and helped put me at ease and the wait between arrival and being seen was very short, all in all I think the practice is great even if they sent me to A&E 😅

I had a skin infection for over a year which covered my entire body but within 2 months my condition got better. All thanks to the efforts of Dr. Qayan

I had consultation with the lead physician associate, the service was very good and professionally conducted. I was examined thoroughly, and was advised to do comprehensive screening tests, to determine the reason for my weight loss. A follow up was to take place to discuss the results.

I have recently moved to Brookside Practice in the last year. So far I have had 3 interactions with Brookside Surgery and each one has been fantastic. I have had telephone appointments and face to face appointments and I cannot recommend their practice enough. The NHS is staffed by incredibly kind people and Brookside is a shining example of that. My experience with one of the team today has genuinely left me reassured after some health concerns that have been ongoing for a couple of years. I’m sure the kindness of this person is an everyday occurrence and because of that, the way he helped me today probably doesn’t stand out particularly for him, but I am so grateful for his help and it was an example of excellent practice from my perspective. Thank you again.

The doctor waited in the evening to see me urgently after hearing about symptoms. The doctor checked me and realized I had to go to Hospital immediately. She took excellent care and tried to make sure the NHS can help me as quickly as possible, probably helped save my life. Thank you Doctor and NHS.

I recently had a health problem that had the potential to be serious I had all sorts of tests including a CT scan. I know there are problems in the NHS but as far as I am concerned I received brilliant service. All credit to the Doctor and the team at Brookside.

Switched GPs due to move, never have I experienced the lack of care as I did here. "Someone" discontinued 6 medications without telling me, even when I had a face to face appt with a GP to tell them why I needed them. Chronically ill, disabled and failed by this surgery. Requested to speak to practice manager, appt was booked 2wks in advance only for him to cancel and give me an assistant practitioner. Not bothered about hierarchy but she could not address the issues I was having. Appalling. Glad to have moved and not have to return to this surgery.
