I had consultation with the lead physician associate, the service was very good and professionally conducted. I was examined thoroughly, and was advised to do comprehensive screening tests, to determine the reason for my weight loss. A follow up was to take place to discuss the results.

I have recently moved to Brookside Practice in the last year. So far I have had 3 interactions with Brookside Surgery and each one has been fantastic. I have had telephone appointments and face to face appointments and I cannot recommend their practice enough. The NHS is staffed by incredibly kind people and Brookside is a shining example of that. My experience with one of the team today has genuinely left me reassured after some health concerns that have been ongoing for a couple of years. I’m sure the kindness of this person is an everyday occurrence and because of that, the way he helped me today probably doesn’t stand out particularly for him, but I am so grateful for his help and it was an example of excellent practice from my perspective. Thank you again.

The doctor waited in the evening to see me urgently after hearing about symptoms. The doctor checked me and realized I had to go to Hospital immediately. She took excellent care and tried to make sure the NHS can help me as quickly as possible, probably helped save my life. Thank you Doctor and NHS.

I recently had a health problem that had the potential to be serious I had all sorts of tests including a CT scan. I know there are problems in the NHS but as far as I am concerned I received brilliant service. All credit to the Doctor and the team at Brookside.

Switched GPs due to move, never have I experienced the lack of care as I did here. "Someone" discontinued 6 medications without telling me, even when I had a face to face appt with a GP to tell them why I needed them. Chronically ill, disabled and failed by this surgery. Requested to speak to practice manager, appt was booked 2wks in advance only for him to cancel and give me an assistant practitioner. Not bothered about hierarchy but she could not address the issues I was having. Appalling. Glad to have moved and not have to return to this surgery.

I am very impressed at the way in which this practice is run. It is not necessary to always see a doctor, so the fact that you have so many different levels of care is outstanding. Great credit must be given to the reception staff who always listen and are so kind and compassionate and try to help as quickly as they can. Way back, about 6-7 years ago my husband had outstanding care from the doctor, when he diagnosed the correct ailment, a condition which had been overlooked only a week previously, but acted on without delay. The doctor even followed this up with two telephone calls to see how my husband was getting on. More recently we had one occasion when my husband saw a Physician Associate and just recently me who saw a paramedic. Both were very thorough and enabled both of us to start our treatment without delay. The fact that those who aren't doctors are mentored and overseen in their treatment is exemplary. GPs are so busy so if others can help take some of the burden off them is an ideal situation. We both feel that we are so lucky to have such an excellent group practice. Thank you.

Thank you to all the team for skilled, compassionate and supportive care of my 90 year mother this year. She has seen 3 of your doctors all of whom have been thoughtful & thorough & have helped her back to health after catching Covid from my family over Christmas. Everyone has been so helpful. We are all most appreciative & grateful. Thank you

when i arrived i was in a lot of pain and i explained my symptoms and he was very open minded and listened. he then went through a different approach compared to other doctors i’ve seen before and found after the problem after multiple years of being in constant pain.

I have had to consult Brookside a few times over the last couple of months, and each time my issues have been considered and a course of treatment proposed, with follow-up appointments easy to arrange. Indeed, in the last couple of appointments I have been able to arrange these follow-up appointments whilst still in the consulting room. My wife has also found a prompt service.

Physician Associate listened carefully and then gave thorough examination. Felt my voice was heard and we were working in partnership to improve my health. Booked my follow-up appointment straight away so I did not have to go back myself into the surgery booking system. She came across as very professional, helpful and efficient.
