Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Wayne marsh - Posted on 08 October 2024
The nurse practitioner called me to discuss results of tests etc I have been having, spending time to talk advice and listen it was lovely of the nurse to explain everything thoroughly and to set out a plan going forward, we were on the phone for over twenty minutes and at no time did I feel rushed or a burden , well done Burlington rd and the NHS

Review titled Very supportive staff
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by A.T. - Posted on 29 July 2024
The staff at Burlington PCT have been very supportive over several years, helping me to cope with my long-term condition and the side-effects of treatment (sometimes, it seems to me, despite the limitations of inflexible IT systems and the bureaucratic box-ticking required by DoH). The Health and Wellbeing Coach has been particularly helpful being able to get to know me better over a longer period of time than GPs have the opportunity to do these days, taking a more holistic view of my situation and supporting me in so many ways. I have found it easier to cope this year than before due to their help and don’t know how I would manage now without it, thank you.

Review titled Unhelpful and rude reception staff
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Stephen D - Posted on 08 May 2024
Standards have slipped abruptly since covid. The reception staff are rude and unhelpful. It’s nigh on impossible to see a doctor. I have called two days running to try and get a telephone appointment, reception inform me that as my issue isn’t an emergency I need to try again the following day. What a waste of time!

Dear Stephen I am sorry that you feel standards have slipped since covid. In order to mange the demand on our services and ensure that patient needs are matched with the most applicable clinician, it does mean that we do need to triage our calls and manage calls in the best way possible. At times, due to high demand and changes to the clinical rota, it is necessary to limit our service to urgent/emergency requests only. I hope that you have since been able to access our team? Please let me know if this is not the case and I will look into this for you. My apologies that you have not experienced the expected service from us. Kind regards Sharon Meers Practice Manager

I was in despair after leaving psychiatric hospital and being put in to a hotel. Dr helped me overcome negative thoughts and spoke to council and got me some where safe to stay
