  1. Review titled Horrible place

Rated 1 star out of 5

I'm waiting for routine telephone call, of course no one call. Trying to call Carlton Street Surgery. One hour hanging on the phone. The worst are receptionist, to handle anything you need to be on thin line of rudenes or shout. Of course this time nothing was work. From them perspective doctor call 3 times already, i was call hour later, and from this what I know, they call only 2 times, not three. Obviously receptionist lying. I'm disabled person, and can't walk, they leave me with pain without help. If you sick go and you can, go somewhere else.

  2. Review titled Rude receptionist & no confidentiality what so ever

Rated 1 star out of 5

Having been to the surgery today to make an appointment with the nurse I was asked why I needed the appointment & after trying to explain I was told there were no appointments available & to try again. Then I asked about a call back from the nurse so I could request a blood test form only to be told I needed to get a call back from a doctor & the next available call back was for the 14th of March. I told the receptionist it was the nurse I spoke to the last time I requested a blood test form & she totally ignored me & said in a sharp voice the doctor will ring you on the 14th of March. They do plenty of training days on Thursday afternoons at Carlton Street surgery but obviously some members of staff need more!!

  3. Review titled Amazing doctor!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had a GP appointment today which was very easy to book via the NHS App. The GP was polite & attentive. Very respectful & took the time to explain everything. The reception staff were pleasant. I requested for my choose and book referral which they provided efficiently. Great staff & thank you for the continued care you provide.

  4. Review titled What happened to patient confidentiality?

Rated 3 stars out of 5

First let me say that it’s great to be back to face to face appointments at the surgery! However, following my consultation with the Dr who told me to book two follow up appointments with the nurse, I returned to reception to do this! I was flabbergasted to be asked by the receptionist why I needed the appointments and wasn’t prepared to announce details of my private medical problem to a packed waiting room! The receptionist wasn’t prepared to understand that the Dr had asked me to book the appointments so it was stalemate. I will phone at a later date and if asked what the reason is for the appointment I shall make something up! I think some further training in patient confidentiality may be in order for some of the staff!

  5. Review titled Wrong information by receptionist

Rated 1 star out of 5

After eventually getting through after 40 minutes trying, asked receptionist about booster covid jab for over 65’s and was told it was only over 75’s when NHS online said over 65. Also flu jabs had to wait for txts from surgery. Husband and I sorted ourselves out by going to local pharmacy for flu jab and walk in centre for booster covid. Job done, goodness knows how long we’d be waiting for a txt! Understand we couldn’t see a doctor face to face 2 years ago but times have moved on and other surgeries are seeing patients.

  6. Review titled Phone line is always engaged

Rated 1 star out of 5

Really poor practice ,myself a nurse of 28 years who has worked all through covid. One receptionist unbelievably rude . Lots of wasted phone calls ,had to chase my own 48hr tape results . Told today I need repeat blood test ,instead of doing a form ,I know have to wait for the nurse to ring me . I have to be available all day Tuesday to discuss it ,for me then to have to go to the surgery to pick a form up.Why I can’t get a form today ???? Useless
