  1. Review titled Overall great practice

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Mitra - Posted on 11 July 2024

For most part they are really good. The GP I saw today face to face was brilliant. Her positive attitude was refreshing and uplifting. She took her time and listened. Didn't dismiss me or rush me. She really wanted to help. Pitty she is not permanent. The receptionist are also great.

The young lady who's on thr front desk is all ways very helpful, her consistency to go over and beyond to help the patience is phenomenal. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves.

Doctor took her time to listen and discuss my concerns as well as give me opportunity to ask questions. I felt heard, not rushed and was given good empathy.

  5. Review titled Poor patient care and attention

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 08 December 2023

I had an appointment at 2pm with the physician associate who prescribed me antibiotics for a chest infection and an inhaler/spacer to help with my shortness of breath, dizziness and wheeze. I was told my prescription needed to be signed off by the doctor and then would be sent to my nominated pharmacy to collect within a few hours. At 4pm I went to check and it hadn't yet reached the pharmacy. I called the GP surgery to check and was told it was still with the GP to sign off. I went back into the pharmacy at 5.45 and they still didn't have it. Another call to the GP, only to be told it was still on the desk and they were about to close for the day. So after being told I needed medication to help my breathing and chest, i did not receive it. Next day, I have called the surgery at 11.15 and it seems to be lost and unsigned. Almost 24 hours after seeing a physician, i do not have what I need to get better, and have been told, hopefully it will be sorted by 5pm tonight. I feel completely abandoned, ignored and as though patient care is an incredibly low priority at my surgery. I do not understand why sick patients are not seen by a GP anymore and how seeing a physician PA is anything but an inefficient waste of time when prescriptions cannot be signed off there and then. Instead they sit on the GP's desk and not with the patient. There is a distinct lack of communication too between patients/doctors and the pharmacy they sent requests too.

  7. Review titled Telephone appointment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by John de Freitas - Posted on 11 September 2023

I was a little sceptical when it was announced that telephone appointments were going to be used.I have had 4 fairly recently and it was the last one that convinced me that they indeed serve as a useful tool for the GP, and for me. They have all been within the given appointment time ,feel a lot more relaxed, and I don’t have to sit in a waiting room with others, so a win win situation, however it’s not the answer for every ailment and will never cover all appointment requests, it suits follow ups and lesser urgent symptoms.

  8. Review titled Quick and helpful response

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I recently needed some urgent advice and medication. I was able to request this online and got a response over a bank holiday weekend. I was then phoned by the doctor who was able to prescribe what I needed there & then.
